House, 6 Bedrooms + Attached Unit, 5 Baths, (Sleeps 19-23)

Fabulous vacation property just 1 1/2 blocks to the beach. The home features a main residence with 5 bedrooms on three floors and 4 full bathrooms. A Guest Apartment is on the ground floor with 1bedroom/1 bath. This unit can be rented seperately or with the main residence.

THIS HOME IS VERY WELL MAINTAINED! THE KITCHEN IN THE MAIN HOUSE AND THE GUEST APARTMENT WE JUST RENOVATED IN NOVEMBER 2014 AND INCLUDE ALL STAINLESS STEEL APPLIANCES AND SOLID SURFACE COUNTERS. (pictures still show old kitchen) All of the furniture, bedding, fixtures and finishes are updated often. The main residence features a living room/dining room, new kitchen, fully enclosed screen porch, a second family room/loft area with TV, five bedrooms and four full bathrooms. There are private decks on each floor; two with partial ocean views.

Also available is a ground floor guest apartment. This apartment features a large living room, eat-in kitchen and a bedroom with two queen beds.

Main Residence:

PLEASE READ MY MINIMUM RENTAL PERIODS;

I ONLY RENT SATURDAY TO SATURDAY DURING JUNE, JULY AND AUGUST.... I DO NOT RENT THE GUEST APARTMENT BY ITSELF DURING JUNE AND JULY.

First Floor: Living Room/Dining Room, Screen Porch, Kitchen, Bedroom (with Queen Size Bed) and a full bathroom.

Second Floor: Three Bedrooms (2 with Queen Beds and the Master with a King Bed) a full bathroom for the two bedrooms and a private bathroom and walk-in closet for the master bedroom.

Third Floor: Family room/loft with a sleeper sofa, love seat, TV and a private deck. One large bedroom with three full size beds and one twin bunk bed, a full bathroom and private deck.

Guest Apartment:

Ground Floor: Living Room(sleeper sofa), Eat-In Kitchen, Bedroom (with 2 Queen Size Beds) and a full bathroom.

I HAVE A WEEK MINIMUM RENTAL IN JUNE, JULY AND AUGUST AND A THREE-NIGHT MINIMUM RENTAL THE REST OF THE YEAR (EXCLUDING HOLIDAYS). THIS APPLIES TO BOTH THE MAIN HOUSE AND THE GUEST APARTMENT.

I DO NOT RENT TO COLLEGE GROUPS; EVEN IF YOU SAY THAT 'YOU WILL TAKE GREAT CARE OF MY HOUSE'...SORRY!

FREE WI-FI THROUGHOUT THE PLACE.

Amazing home for a Tybee Get away

I would highly recommend this house for a Tybee Island getaway. We had 16 people in our group and had plenty of space for all of us to get ready. The house is well kept with great appliances, nice kitchens/Bathrooms, and really cute comforters in all rooms! Perfect for a girls weekend or large family. Walking distance to fun bars/restaurants as well as the beach. I will definitely be checking on this house for future trips.

Excellent place for a big family!

Your home was amazing! The loction was perfect, we walked everywhere. There were 14 of us including some elderly parents. The guest apartment on the ground floor was perfect for them. The beds were very comfortable and the place was well taken care of and clean. I think the kitchen was brand new, the appliances still had some packing labels (we removed them). We had a small problem with the washing machine which was fixed right away by the property manager (it was also brand new, but they people that put it in never plugged it into the outlet! No big deal). We can't wait to come back next summer. Thank you, TR.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the nice comments. We just renovated the kitchens in both the main house and guest apartment. The main house received all new stainless steel appliances, new countertops and a new sink. The guest apartment received new appliances, countertops, sink and the addition of a dish washer. The washer/dryer in the main house was replaced the day before you arrived; I apologize for the issue regarding the power to the dryer, somehow the installers forgot to plug it in! Please keep us in mind for future stays on Tybee, its a great place to vacation.

Great Place for Big Families

I have stayed here for a week for the past four summers and we love it!

The house is in a great location, close to the beach and restaurants. The bedrooms are nice and clean and the kitchen is stocked so we cook there a lot. We get the downstairs apartment for my parents which is separate but easily accessible. The only bad part this summer was the grill, it needs to be replaced. We will be back again next year but please think about allowing pets, we hate putting our dog in a kennel for the week!

In addition, this fall we will be changing some of the kitchen appliances and painting much of the interior (this is done about every two years). We take a lot of pride in our home and we appreciate your continued rental.

Great location but could use some TLC

The house was accommodating but was missing a few key items. We rented for a week and the house was mostly clean but could use a deep cleaning. The front screened in porch was not cleaned at all. The railings, floor and walls were filthy. There were no cleaning products, including a broom! With all the sand, a broom would have been nice. The dishwasher did not clean the dishes, so we had to wash everything by hand. We had 14 people so we had a lot of dishes. The dryer ruined several items of clothing. If it has strings, don't put it in the dryer! There were no light bulbs in the lamps. The recessed lighting in the living room had to stay on in order for the ceiling fan on the top floor to work. We were there on the hottest week of the year and the top floor was hot , so you needed the fan! The outside grill was not in any shape to be used. We had to borrow a grill from a nearby family member. The house is large and comfortable with plenty of room for everyone. Most of the things that were wrong with the house were small but when you spend that kind of money, I tend to expect near perfection! I would also recommend looking at google earth before renting. The view from the porch is a large trash compactor that the area businesses bring their trash to. The house is very close to all the shops and the pier, which was the best part of the house and why we chose it.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your email. I am sorry the porch was not clean. I have been using the same professional property management company for six years and I can't recall having an issue with cleaning. I will address it with them immediately. I understand about the lighting, but the entire middle of the house is open to the top floor, so all of the lights work together. Although my home is not inexpensive, I believe you will find that for the size, location and quality, we are very reasonably priced. Lastly, the trash area across the street from my home is completely enclosed and only operated under restricted hours. Again, if you read my reviews, you will see this hasn't ever been an issue. Great place to vacation

I have a large family of 16 people, including some elderly parents and young children. This place worked out so well for us. My parents stayed in the guest apartment on the ground floor and our two families with small children stayed in the main house. There was plenty of room to relax. the place was clean and very spacious We were less than two blocks from the beach and really close to a bunch of fun restaurants and bars. We parked five cars without problem. The only downfall was no gas grill, but they did have a great charcoal grill for cooking.

Lots of room!

I chose this house for its size and was not disappointed. All 18 of us had no trouble with the space. I loved the First floor of the main house (not ground floor), the pictures do not do it justice. I love the screened in porch and it was super clean and very well maintained. I will mention however there was NOT a DVD player nor a stereo system. It was listed on the amenities so just a little disappointed. I had no time to watch movies anyway so no big deal. I also will mention that the bathroom in the master on 2nd floor of main house the water could only be turned on to shower mode not to take a bath which was a little annoying.

Also I think the whole house could use new sets of pillows in the bedrooms. I am weird about pillows and they need to be cleaned just as much as sheets etc. and replaced more frequently in my opinion. I did think the carpet and bathrooms were very clean which I am very picky about and I was pleased. All of my guests were very happy with the accommodations. I will mention that the view in front of the house is not the best. There is a view from higher floors but still not as beautiful as this house deserves. I liked the outdoor seating around the house and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was great and had all the items we could need. I would recommend this house to anyone who needs this kind of space. Such a quick walk to the beach and right by shops and restaurants. Great location. Also plenty of trash bins and recycling which was great!

Maybe newer, nicer photos would show off this property more as it was beautiful, more than the pics now can show!

Owner's Response: Thank you for the review of my home. We do try and maintain it and I am grateful that you appreciated it. I am assuming that the bath issue was with the master bedroom bath tub. I will contact my property manager and have the problem corrected. I do apologize about the lack of a DVD player and stereo. There should be one for each television; I will make sure they are added back into the unit. Thanks again for the review.
