About Paul and Gail Teveliet

My husband and I are recently retired and enjoy an active lifesyle that include racing our sailboat, skiing, hiking, traveling, and beach time.

Why Paul and Gail Teveliet chose Coastal Oregon

close to a local airport. Located between Newport and Lincoln City. With a panoramic view up and down the coast for many beautiful sunsets. No traffic going by or noisy people. We are located at the end of a cult de sac overlooking the ocean. We built the home to live full time but plans changed so we decided to let others enjoy it also. We appreciate it being taken care of which makes it possible to keep the cost down.

Home Sweet Home (but better!)

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay at this house (stayed last summer as well) and won't be our last. This house truly feels like home, but on the ocean! They have pretty much everything you need (well, I did have to stop and get a few serving utensils, and some bigger coffee cups). Wonderful views, no road noise, great location between Lincoln City and Newport. Close enough to stores and outlets, but far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle of regular life. Just kick back in this comfy house and enjoy the views. I still think that it would be much nicer to be able to have a breeze in the bedrooms, and still waiting for the deck to be built on the other side near the master bedroom. That would make it SO much nicer! Love me the sound of the ocean waves! Thanks again Gail and Paul for the nice stay...we'll be back!

P.S...be careful on the trail to the ocean behind the gate to the south of the property...my sister said there was a lot of poison ivy or oak there! (can't remember which she said)

Owner's Response: Thankyou for your input and welcome back! Regards to the poison ivy/oak on the tillicum trail. It has been freshly serviced and trimmed back. IF and I don't know of anyone coming in contact l with oak/ivy since we have been here ( a very long time) the trail is wide enough and unless you go off there shouldn't be any issues. Patio door still on the list 😉. You must like really BIG mugs. and thanks for the other items. Things seem to dissapear occasionally. Gail and Paul

Great vacation getaway house

  • 4 of 5

Second time we have stayed here. Good location. Grandsons love the house and the beach. Love just sitting and watching and listening to the ocean. Didn't need all of the beds, but bunk beds are a nice addition for larger family groups. Very clean.

Great beach house

  • 5 of 5

The house was just as described. Beautiful ocean view and quiet location - just the sound of the ocean. We found the house very comfy and enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen to cook in, the big couches to watch the ocean view and whales from and of course my husband loved the big TV with lots of channels. We sat out on the deck almost every night with a glass of wine and took beautiful sunset pictures. The path to the beach wasn't difficult (walking sticks help going downhill) and we walked a few miles every day.

good house

  • 4 of 5

House is good for relaxation on the ocean ,view of the ocean is very beautiful, enough space for 10 people but it look like less then 2200 sq, one more thing what we do not like access to the beach .Generally Thank you for share your house

Owner's Response: The sq footage is correct.. upper level only. Sorry you had problems with the beach access. There are 2 alternatives tho. Not handicap accessable. A big hiking stick can help navigate the dunes which are determined by the tides. The effort is worth it. The beach is completely flat for the most part. Thankyou

Wonderful house right by the ocean

  • 5 of 5

We adored our time in this home. We saw whales right from the living room and had breath taking views of the ocean throughout the house. Very accommodating. My family would definitely stay here again.
