Come join us for a week in our version of paradise. Here’s why:
* One of the best rated, least crowded and most beautiful family beaches found anywhere.
* Very private with no houses behind...we feel it's much better than 2nd row because of this
* Safe and located on a very quiet street yet very close proximity to the beach. Only approx. 200 yards to private neighborhood beach access so our section of beach is uncrowded
*Wonderful water views of both Atlantic (front) and Intracoastal Waterway (back).
*4 decks + patio + yard with 3 palm trees, a trellis with jasmine and a large prickly pear cactus
* Tasteful, spacious and renovated accommodations with much more space than most single family homes of similar price
*Modern TV's and Audio/Video streaming entertainment choices through ROKU TV & networked AV receiver
* Pristine & uncrowded wide white-sand beach
* Plenty of great dining choices, shopping and children’s amusements, all within a 2 mile radius.
* Some of the best fishing and boating on the East Coast
* Approximately 40 world class golf courses within a 30 minute radius.
Holden Beach is still a well-kept secret, perhaps not for long though. National Geographic Smart Traveler magazine recently ranked Holden Beach among it's top 10 'Best Family Beaches' category. H.B. offers a great alternative to the crowds and commercialism of nearby N. Myrtle Beach, which is only approximately 35 miles away or Wilmington beaches which are typically much more crowded.
Owner is a licensed real estate broker in NC, however this is our personal property and 2nd home.

Rob & Cheri Hall. We live in Chapel Hill, NC. We've been married 16 years and have 2 great kids. Olivia is 13 and Justin is 11 as of Summer '16. Hence 'JustLiv'...
We bought the property in 2002 and each year try to improve and modernize it.
Rob Hall purchased this condo in 2002
The property is unique and a great value at the price we charge for what you get compared with other properties close by. This is why many guests return (some multiple times per year). Uncrowded pristine wide white sand beach. No high rises, only cottages on the island due to 30 ft. height restrictions. Low-key, relaxed family atmosphere that is still relatively undiscovered. Island runs East to West which is somewhat unique for the East Coast...makes for some interesting Atlantic sunsets (over the water in the Winter)
We have privacy with nobody behind us, yet are only about a 1 minute walk from the beach. We feel it is much better than 2nd row because of not being surrounded by houses and not sitting on a busy main thoroughfare. Brunswick Ave is ideal for biking, blading or walking/running because it is quiet and safe, yet just a block from the beach and parallel to the beach road (Ocean Blvd). From the front we have a ocean view and from the back we have a view of the Intracoastal waterway. Our landscaping in the backyard includes 3 large palm trees and a huge prickly pear cactus, giving a nice private tropical feel. We have multiple decks on both sides and a great patio area down below ideal for grilling with a nice breeze at street level (hang the hammock down there for a great nap!). There is a wonderful outdoor hot/cold shower that is very refreshing after a day at the beach.
Thank you so much for a relaxing week in Holden Beach. The house was just a described. My family had never rented a house or condo for a vacation. We did not know what to expect. After a quick run to the store for food, we were soon sitting on the deck sipping some wine. We had a great time on the beach, riding bikes, and kayaking on the intercoastal. We visited some of the other beach communities nearby.
If you want a quiet more less crowded beach and community, this rental unit and Holden Beach is the place to go.
We loved this house...less than 1 block from beach with easy access. Quiet with nature area in back (and walking trail around it). Glad to not be on busy and noisy Ocean Blvd. Great size for our family of 7...lots of porches with nice furniture. Remodeled bathrooms. Comfy beds and living room... we'll be back! Eat at provision company and be sure to do a day trip to Seaport. Rob is very responsive to emails when inquiring.
Our family vacation was long overdue and this house was just what we needed. Literally just around the corner from the ocean tide, the house was very clean and had more then the mentioned amenities. Who knew we would need a hand mixer-but guess what?! There was one there! We greatly appreciated the privacy of the 3 bathrooms and the open floor plan made it easy for all of us to enjoy one another's company. The call from Rob himself was such a special touch and his communication as time lead up to the trip was always timely and professional. We highly recommend this property to others. Thanks Rob and Cheri!
We enjoyed our stay here. We had great weather that week raining only on the last evening we were there. The place could use some updating and minor repairs but we would stay here again. Just about everything we needed was furnished. The Beach has easy access, about 5 min walk.
We went to Myrtle for the afternoon one day and hated it! Too many people. There is hardly anyone on the beach at Holden and its a great beach.
This was our 2nd visit & was just as amazing. We can definitely see why you chose this place as a 2nd home. Seriously, the pictures are good but they really don't do it justice--especially the views!
April is a bit cool but that sure didn't spoil the beauty. :) And we had the added bonus of a fun little craft and food festival under the bridge while we were visiting. Man, everyone on the island is so friendly. We can see ourselves back again & again.
Thanks for sharing this home & opportunity!
P.S. Check out The Purple Onion--amazing and super affordable breakfast and wonderful bakery items. Not too far into the mainland.
We wanted a quiet, cozy, relaxing honeymoon, & we ended up at the perfect place. Beautiful views from every deck, excellent location, kitchen was well stocked, king bed was super comfy, LOVE the new tile shower, & we could've stayed in the hammock forever. The ocean is ridiculously close, & we enjoyed walking most everywhere (walk the pier, it's only $1!). There was a small incident, but Rob was on top of it and handled it so well we definitely wouldn't mind returning. :)
Loved the local food (& vibes). Def try Captain Pete's (their Sunday brunch was amazing), Patronies for dang good pizza, & Beaches & Creme for homemade ice cream. If you don't mind a little drive, visit Inlet View in Shallot. The views, the staff, & the place--it's off the beaten path but worth it.
The worst part really was having to leave. We took many great memories home with us and hope to return before too long. Perfect place to relax, especially after a yr of wedding planning & for 1st vacation in years! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home.
This is my second time to stay at this home and it was just as enjoyable this time as the first time I visited. Plenty of room. Great views. Close enough to the ocean. Well equipped. Holden Beach is a wonderful place to vacation and I look forward to visiting again and will chose this home again. Love the new kitchen table set. PS: I left a Scrabble Game in the den for future vistors to enjoy.
Beach activities are the main attraction. 9 miles of the most unspoiled, non-commercialized wide beaches in the U.S. Low-key, family oriented island community that is very safe, especially for those with small children. Plenty of excellent dining choices and shopping within a 2 mile radius, many more within a 30 min. drive to either N. Myrtle Beach or Wilmington. Plenty of activities for the kids including water slide, bumper boats, go carts and miniature golf within 2 miles (on mainland across bridge). Over 40 of the best golf courses in the greater Myrtle Beach area are between a 5 to 30 minute drive. Our street is quiet and safe (parallel to main Ocean Blvd), perfect for biking, running or blading.
Other Activities: water slides, bumper boats, miniature golf, fishing
