This is a great apartment. The pictures really show exactly what you can expect. The apartment was the perfect size for our 9 day stay. We were very comfortable. I agree with all of the other great reviews. Everything was clean and in perfect working order. Most things have been mentioned. I can add 2 things - I love the adjustable height shower. The water pressure was fabulous. I really appreciated the Nespresso coffee maker which made delicious coffee.
Florence is a perfect hostess. She helped me with travel questions and gave great advice before our arrival and during our stay. She met us when we arrived and helped with the bags. She explained everything that we needed and told us to let her know if we needed anything else.
The location is great: quiet neighborhood, 15 min walk to Notre Dame, short walk to Rue Mouffetard, 2 min walk to 2 subways. If you walk up the hill towards Cardinal Lemoine metro stop, there is a bakery with great baguettes less than 1 Euro. Just across Rue Monge from the bakery is the Carrefour Market (grocery). If you go the other way in the direction of the Jussieu metro stop, there is a Carrefour Express Market (small grocery with just the essentials)
I highly recommend this apartment and we will definitely stay here again when we return.
Last november/december, we stayed for a week in that Studio and we just loved it. It is very charming, with a perfect location and a perfect hostess – Florence.
The studio is just like it´s shown in the pictures – you´ll get exactly what you see. Good taste, good space, good sun, the small details of a delicate hand, everything working well and – as a caring gift to the hosts - a lot of good books to read after a long day of sightseeing.
And when I speak of a perfect location, that´s just it: a perfect location. From the studio, you can easily go walking to the heart of the Quartier Latin, to the Mouffetard Street, Pantheon, Gardens of Luxembourg, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Gardens of Luthece, the Institute of Arabian World, the Seine, Shakespeare and Company (one of the coolest bookstores in the world, but the cat isn´t there anymore…) and lots of small and charming commerces, cafes, bars, bistrots…
And all of this is completed with the friendship and care of Florence, the owner. She welcomes the hosts and puts them really at home – literally, because we visited her to a glass of wine... Besides, she lives at next door and puts herself a disposal if there´s any problem..
But who has problems in Paris?
We stayed here for 3 days in August. Can only agree with what others have said regarding comfort and location of this pretty studio apartment. We did not meet Florence as she was away on holidays, but she kindly left the little fridge stocked with all we needed for petite dejeuner on the balcony. She was very easy to deal with via email, and arranged for a friend to meet us on arrival. The lift was a small triangular shape (room for one person, one suitcase) but we were very grateful for it! We would certainly stay here again, and highly recommend Suite Florence.
We stayed at Suite Florence for 10 days in July. Although the weather was hot, the apartment was breezy and comfortable. The location is perfect - nestled between two Metro stops, with charming shops, cafes and an amazing open market only steps away. The little balcony was delightful for relaxing with a glass of wine and the small refrigerator was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for our petit dejeuner. The bathroom was spacious and having a washer was great. This is a great place to stay and experience everything that Paris has to offer!!
My husband and I stayed in the idyllic little apartment a year ago now. We constantly think fondly on the perfect few weeks that we stayed here. The room is spacious, light filtering in the large windows in the daytime with beautiful views of a quiet, lush park. The kitchenette is wonderful for a light breakfast or a late night snack of wine and baguettes, and one wall of the apartment is lined with French literature. An easy walk to a variety of boulangeries, cafes, and the metro, this locale was the ideal location to explore the city daily, whether on foot, bicycle, or train. The owner is a wonderful person, if home she will invite you in for a glass of wine and give you advice on lesser-known Parisian hangouts to visit, speaking to you in excellent English. We could not have been more pleased with this apartment and would jump at the chance to visit Paris again and stay in this pleasing, comfortable studio.
If you ask the locals, they will tell you the Latin Quarter is the best location to stay in Paris. Suite Florence is certainly in a great spot in the Lating Quarter. A small, quiet side-street right off of two much busier streets filled with cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. You can easily walk to Notre Dame, the Louvre, Ille Saint-Louis, etc. If you don't feel like walking, at the end of each street you have a subway station. Additionally, you have a bike stand ON your street 50 yards from the apartment, so you can jump on a bike and ride anywhere in the city using the easy Velib biking system for 8 euros per week. The owner Florence is also very easy to deal with. Making the reservation was smooth, and she lives next door in case you need anything. Leaving the refrigerator stocked full upon our arrival was very much appreciated! There is a reason ALL of her reviews are 5 stars. Book at Suite Florence and you will not regret it!
Metro,2 minutes walk you will find : subway stations: JUSSIEU (line7 and 10) or CARDINAL-LEMOINE (line10).
