2 bedrooms with river view, roof terrace with castle view, bathroom with large bathtub
The apartment is located on the top floor of a in 1900, listed century building with sandstone façade. What was still available at the old substance was exposed and lovingly restored. The result was on the third floor a charming apartment with three rooms, a kitchenette, a modern bathroom and roof terrace on 58 square meters plus roof terrace. Wooden floorboards, exposed brick wall, otherwise just plastered walls and ceilings provide a cozy flair. The decor is quite modern with plasma TV, Wi-Fi, kitchen with two burner stove, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge and everything you need for two to four people during the holidays. For real cook is not enough, but a small meal and breakfast goes all times.

Roomy, well equipped apartment. Great location if not driving - less than 5 minutes from one train station, flat 15 minute walk to another, across the park from the boat docks, adjacent to a TI, grocery nearby. Despite being right by the rail line noise was not an issue. Yes, there are stairs but the height may be helping on the noise and gets a good view of the river. The balcony/patio however has a city view. Owner very personable and helpful.
Everything I needed!!
This cozy attic space was absolutely wonderful. It was the perfect home base for my day trips along the middle Rhine. Both train stations and a grocery store were easy walks. The patio was a gorgeous space to have morning coffee and to plan my days. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean, clean, clean!! I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this space to anyone.
Great apartment with spectacular view!
I arrived in Germany with my husband and daughter on July 28, 2017. We travelled to Bingen on the Rhein and stayed 2 nights in Astrid and Klaus' apartment. I booked this place for the view and location and we were not disappointed. The apartment is on the top floor of the building with fabulous views of the Rhein. I had been concerned about the possible noise from the train line - especially after a 24 hour trip from Australia- but there was no issue. With the windows closed there was no disturbance from the train noise at night. Astrid welcomed us and gave us helpful tips about the area.
The apartment had everything we needed and was very clean and well looked after.
The day we arrived we went across to Rüdesheim on the car ferry and went up on the cable car to the monument. We had a lovely afternoon exploring Rüdesheim and stayed there for dinner. Bingen was far more authentic and less touristy than Rüdesheim and we were glad we chose to stay on that side of the river.
We travelled on the Rhein from Bingen to Koblenz, getting off the boat at Bacarach and at Boppard on the way. From Koblenz we caught the train back to Bingen.
It was a great start to our holiday in Germany.
So Amazing! I wish we could have stayed longer!
We stayed one night in this very nice apartment, but I wish we could have stayed longer! It is located very close to the train station and river cruise docks. We were greeted at the door, shown the apartment (which is the entire top floor), and given recommendations for dinner. The apartment is very large, comfortable, and clean! And it has a cute patio off the back with a view of the castle! The front overlooks the Rhine and ruins of another castle. This was our favorite place to stay during a 2 week trip through 4 countries. Highly, highly recommended!
Very nice apartment
It was really spacious aprtment with very good view of River Rhien . Friendly owner with very good helping nature.. i really enjoyed my stay..
Bingen is located at the intersection of four wine-growing regions and is the gateway to the World Heritage Middle Rhine Valley. A boat trip shows the diversity of the landscape and the many castles on the Rhine.
