If you know Lake Roosevelt, you know what a hidden gem it has become. Unpopulated and underdeveloped, this beautiful lake stretches from Grand Coulee dam all the way into Canada. Endless beaches surround this river, dotted by an occasional home. This home was recently built with all the conveniences and amenities you'll need, so you just get to relax. Nestled in ten acres of secluded woods, the deer and wild turkeys race you down to the water. The long Summer days are spent cooling down in the lake any way you desire. In the evening, sit back on the huge deck and barbecue as the sun sets over the water. The full kitchen and sleeping arrangements accommodate sixteen people or more. The rec room and games will provide fun for all through the evening.

About Cheryl Stitt
I am a widow who loves to enjoy life and share what I have with others. I love warm weather so most winters I am not in the Northwest! I am a retired school counselor and enjoy time with my boys and grandchildren.
Cheryl Stitt purchased this House in 1998
Why Cheryl Stitt chose Fruitland
My husband's dream was to build a house on Lake Roosevelt to enjoy in his retirement. When we found this piece of land we knew this was it! As we began to build he was diagnosed with terminal cancer, but he wanted to continue the project. With the help of his three sons and many friends the project was completed. Now we have been able to share our home with many others!

Great views, comfortable and roomy!
Our family reunion here was awesome. There were 12 of us and had plenty of room and then some. Cheryl was super nice and made sure we felt at home. We used the kayaks and canoes. All of us including the kids had tons of fun. The grill and game room were also a huge plus. Even nearby neighbors were really nice. Would definitely do it again!
Thanks for your review! Glad you had a great time there with all your family, as that's what this place was built for!
We had a great time at your place. Beautiful home and great scenery. Thank you for a great weekend!
Great place out of the way and right on the water
We had a family reunion of 22 here and it worked great! Cheryl was super easy to work with, very accommodating. Three family members brought rv's. We hiked on the beach each day and saw deer and heard turkeys in the woods. April may have been a little early for this location due to weather as we had some rain. Next time we would definitely stay during the summer to take advantage of river recreation.
So glad it was a great place for your reunion! Spring is one of my favorite times as it is so quiet and the lake belongs to the wildlife!
I loved my stay at this house!
I was there in May with my two adult sons, daughter-in - law, and 3 grandchildren: 2-year old twins and an 8 month old. The house had a very welcoming feeling from the start. The owner was prompt to answer all my questions before arrival and I was more than delighted with how well equipped it was for young children. The house displayed signs of Christianity, which I don't often see in other places I've rented; it was much appreciated. The large deck off the great room was so relaxing and where we ate most our meals. The beds were all comfortable. The lake was within easy walking distance. We used the paddle boards and even the 2-year olds enjoyed that with their dad. Everything was clean. I would definitely recommend it to others.
They put in Air Conditioning units!
THEY NOW HAVE PORTABLE AC UNITS! GREAT IMPROVEMENT!
Amazing modern secluded property!
This place is awesome! It's HUGE. It is SO close to the water, literally a 60 sec. walk! The map on this listing is way off, it's as close to the lake as the Government allows. Every modern appliance you can want. No house AC, but even on hot days, the house stays relatively cool with the shade of the trees. Chilly nights are no problem with a cozy wood burning stove. Fresh air, smell of the pine trees, quiet wind in the treetops, wow. Like going to church camp in the mountains! Cell service is extremely sparse. I actually floated out in a kayak about 100yds from shore and I got cell service, to get my voice mails. Great for small to med sized groups. We always have a blast when we come to this place. And what a bargain!!
