Long walk down gravel steps to the dock ,Our only complaint was house outdated, slip covers on all living room furniture. Quiet area. You see lake exactly what you see in picture,
This house is remarkably clean and well kept. The location is in the beautiful, quiet neighborhood of Mountain View Shores. The roads in this subdivision don't get much car traffic and are ideal for walking or jogging. We've stayed here at least 3 times and plan on coming back for a 4th visit this summer.
Everything about Sherwood Cottage was perfect, especially in this price range. The place was impeccably maintained, and the furnishings were tasteful and comfortable. The view was stunning and the cove was private and a good launch point for our watercraft . My husband loved the huge gas grill. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return!
Several friends and I had a fantastic time at this property, which was well-appointed, updated, very neat, and immaculate. The property has an excellent view, and the long spacious deck offers lots of privacy and is shaded in the hot afternoons. I will definitely return!
We enjoyed our stay at Sherwood Cottage. Everything was presented nicely but there was some bug infestation that we reported to the main office. Our only criticism was the policy of bringing your own sheets and towels. At first it didn't bother me but with four people it took a whole other large suitcase to bring enough sheets and towels for everyone. At other vacation properties sheets and towels were always provided which we then put in the washer before leaving and housekeeping finished up. If I'm paying for clean up that should be part of it.
