Donna and John Clark began their lodging business in 1994 with one room in their home which they converted into a bed and breakfast room. Now, almost 20 years later, along with some of their grown 7 children and 16 grandchildren, they own and manage 12 bed and breakfast rooms and 4 waterfront vacation rental homes. It is a family business that has brought joy to their family as well as to the hundreds of vacationers who have stayed with them.
Donna & John Clark purchased this house in 2005

It is a recreational paradise with pontoon boat, unlimited boat gas, kayaks, paddle boards, waterfront hot tub, lit volleyball court, adjacent game building with pool, ping pong, shuffleboard, etc.
Built and equipped for large groups. Ultimate privacy. Many facets of recreation on grounds and nearby. Close proximity (1/2 hour or less) to St. Lawrence University, Clarkson University, and 2 SUNY schools make it a resource for conferences, visiting sports teams parents, etc.
We rented the lodge for four nights over New Years for a group of friends from New York and Montreal. It was exactly what we wanted and was spacious, comfortable and really worked for a large group. The surroundings are beautiful. Highly recommended!
This was our 2nd stay at the house and it was wonderful. We called and ask for more gas for the grill and the owners we very helpful and brought 2 more tanks. We had fun with all the things in the play room.
Great house with beautiful views. Definitely recommend it. Hope to stay here again!
We had an AMAZING time at this property, where we held our small intimate wedding for 20 of our closest family members and friends. Between the game room, the hot tub, the kayaks, the pontoon boat, the large front porch, and the outdoor fire pit, there was something for everyone. The foliage cooperated for our wedding and we got some stunning photographs. The pictures don't do the house justice - my family was so happy with the accommodations and with the ability to get on the water at any time. The area is extremely rural, and since none of us are from the area Donna was so helpful in suggesting a caterer and a place to get tables and chairs. We will absolutely be back for anniversaries in the future. Beautiful property and home, and the memories we made there will live in my heart forever.
My husband and I spent 10 days at the Lodge with our kids and their families. There were 10 adults and 4 kids (and one dog!). We had the most wonderful time (my daughter-in-law said it was the best vacation ever!). The chance to spend time together in this beautiful place was priceless. The Lodge had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves, from a fully equipped kitchen to comfy beds to plenty of games (shuffleboard, foosball, ping pong) and water toys (canoes, kayaks and paddle boards) to keep us busy. We had a campfire each night (thankful for a fully stocked wood shed) where we stargazed for hours. Our grandsons enjoyed fishing, paddle boarding and the game room. Other than taking a hike on the Stone Valley trail, spending a couple hours antiquing and going to the sandy beach at the state park one morning, we had plenty to do at the Lodge. Bald eagles soared overhead, turkeys pecked around the yard on several mornings and a mama bear with her two cubs swam across the inlet one day! Even though there is Wi-Fi at the Lodge, we welcomed the opportunity to unplug and play. Instead of internet, we had fishing nets... instead of surfing the web, we surfed on our paddle boards.... instead of social media, we talked and chatted and laughed... in this most beautiful place. Thank you John and Donna for opening your home for others to enjoy... we have already recommended the Lodge to friends and hope to return ourselves someday.
We had a group of 14 and there was something for everyone. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The seclusion of the cabin made for a very relaxing vacation. It was nice to unplug, unwind and relax and spend quality time with family. The scenery was breathtaking. The pontoon boat was a big hit with young and old alike. We enjoyed all the amenities the Lodge had to offer, especially the kayaks, paddle boards, game room and hot tub. There was plenty of firewood provided for us to have campfires nightly. We would highly recommend this Lodge to everyone.
