Guestbook comments from the owner

I always enjoy people like Kelly and her party and am glad I'm on hand to fill in any gaps. I very much respect my guests' privacy but I like them to know I'm here if they need anything or have any questions. The bottom line: A good experience for the people who choose to stay here! Anything I can do towards that is my goal.

Peaceful Retreat

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Hollywood for a week. We were very comfortable . We loved opening the windows at night to the cool mountain air and the sound of the river tumbling down the canyon. It was a great base camp for our daily hikes and art adventures.

Owner's Response: These guests were perfect and a pleasure to have--I loved the term "base camp"! Taos Ski Valley is a good 10-15 degrees cooler than the town of Taos, and being only 20 minutes away, it's the best of both worlds: Pleasant days and cool nights and still close to all the action. Thank you, Guys!

Quiet, relaxing place to stay

Holly has a great prize here. This cabin provided my family of four a relaxing 5 days. We hiked, went rafting, shopped and just spend some time together.

Michele G. Amarillo

This was a perfect place for a relaxing long weekend. Holly was very attentive when needed but, she also respected your privacy. Hot tub just outside the door was amazing. (now were buying one) . Just a mile from the mountain for great hiking and I am sure skiing. We took the Las Vegas route from Amarillo that was amazingly Beautiful.... Thank you Holly for opening your home to us! M.

Owner's Response: Michele and company were wonderful to have here--the things she mentioned in her compliments are many of the reasons I love it here and I love when a guest loves it like I do. The quiet, the privacy, the hot tub, the hiking trails are all important to me and I appreciate when my guests enjoy all of that. Thank you, Michele!

Fantastic

  • 5 of 5

Ideal location, adorable cabin, dog friendly. Everything you could need is supplied, which was awesome- coffee filters, tin foil, laundry detergent- all there! Holly is genuinely nice and truly wants you to enjoy your stay, which made it that much better. We 100% would recommend this property and hope to stay again in the future. We had three adults, a 7 month old, and 2 dogs and it was the perfect space for us!
