Sun and serenity

This is the absolute perfect spot in Salobrena, with gorgeous views and both the town and beach within walking distance. The taverna just around the corner from the apartment was an unexpected pleasure.

The apartment is well appointed, spotless, and has the best equipped kitchen of anyplace we have stayed. Bettina is a thoughtful and helpful host, and we plan to go back again and again.

The perfect location in the old town

This was a wonderful base to explore the area. We really felt at home in the heart of this old city. Lots of walking uphill and down but it was wonderful to feel like we were in a neighborhood with locals, rather than a beach condo. 2nd bedroom is on the ground floor with master on 2nd floor so lots of separation. Also children's bedroom across the hall from the master, though we just used it as a dressing area. Plenty of hot water, fast wifi, fully equipped kitchen. Local owners very helpful with info and suggestions as well as easy to reach. We would recommend it to anyone.

Wir hatten 2 sehr schöne und beeindruckende Wochen in Salobrena. Das Haus liegt mitten in der ruhigen Altstadt nur wenige Schritte von der alten Festung und der kleinen Plaza, die dazu einlädt, die Abende bei einer cervecita und Tapas ausklingen zu lassen.

Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Und: man hat immer einen herrlichen Ausblick auf die Altstadt und das Meer. Am besten natürlich von der Dachterrasse, die ein echtes Highlight ist. Für das Auto gibt es sogar eine Garage, die Zufahrt ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig aber zu schaffen. Ein Segen dafür, denn Parkplätze sind rar. Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden. Die Ausflüge in die Umgebung waren wunderschön. Fest steht, dass wir im nächsten Jahr wieder dort sind!

Schönes Haus in Salobrena

Wir haben zu vier Frauen eine Woche in dem Haus gewohnt. Das Haus ist sehr schön mitten in der Altstadt gelegen. Auf der Dachterrasse hat man einen wunderbaren Blick auf Stadt und Meer. Ein schöner Platz zum Essen und Sonnen!

Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Es gibt von allem genug. Die Vermieterin, Bettina Weidner, ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Spannend ist die Ein- und Ausfahrt aus der Garage. Das Auto sollte wirklich klein sein!

Das Etagenbett in einem der Schlafzimmer ist zu eng. Vielleicht wäre ein Einzelbett besser.

Alles in allem können wir das Haus und die Vermieterin wärmstens empfehlen!

The house was just as it was described,clean and very well equiped. Wonderfull view and surroundning

We spent 10 days in Salobrena and loved the house with the wonderfull view and for us perfect surroundings. We loved finding the baker, the grocer and the square just around the corner. The square is a pearl full of atmosphere; there is a fountain, a cafe/restaurant (good food), where local people meet and talk.

In the house we spent every morning and evening on the roof, grilled there twice as well. We were also happy to find a quick and wellfunctioning Internet.

Downhill is a very lively Salobrena; lots of different shops, a street market and local live on the cafès. The walk to the beach with a lot of many restaurants is quite nice.

During our stay we made some recommendable daytrips; Cordoba - Granada (Alhambra) and the Albujarras. But there is so much more to see, so we have to come back.

Our hostess was very helpfull and considerate during our stay; from our arrival she made sure, that we felt at home!

The bright, secluded cottage with sea views is situated in the idyllic old town of Salobreña, on the southern slope near the Moorish castle (Castillo). Here the traditional character of Andalusia has preserved. Salobreña is a bright white town of Arab origin with winding narrow streets, inviting you to discover. With its 320 sunny days a year and a subtropical climate, it makes it an attractive holiday destination all year round.

The popular beaches of Salobreña are easily accessible from the Casa Nicotiana walk. A 15-minute drive from the water park of Almunecar.

A small grocery store is just 100 meters away. More supermarkets and shopping on foot or by car to reach. 4 bars or Restaurants are within 100 m. In addition, regularly runs a small bus that connects the town with the new town and the beach.

Salobreña is the perfect starting point for day trips both in the mountains and on the coast. In an hour you can reach the Sierra Nevada, the skiing often enables the end of March and year-round sexy hikes of varying difficulty offers. Pronounced attractive is the natural area of ​​Las Alpujarras with its quiet mountain villages - a piece of original Andalusia, which is also ideal for walking or a sightseeing tour. Another attraction is Nerja with its cave, where concerts are held in the summer. On the way, a quick trip to Frigiliana offers, one of the typical white Andalusian villages. Among the memorable highlights of any visit Andalusia is one of the visits to the famous Moorish residence city of Granada (70 km) with its picturesque old town and the unique setting of the Alhambra from the snowcapped peaks of the Sierra Nevada.

To the nearest airports of Malaga and Granada rental car can be hired. It is also a good bus service to Malaga and Granada.
