"Loved this place"

  • 5 of 5

Just got back from staying at the Hula Hut, and we loved it. Melanie was awesome always answering emails quickly. My boys loved it here, they did not want to leave. We parked our car at the Milolii fishing village parking lot and walked a trail that is marked with yellow arrows to a black sand beach, we were the only ones there all day and walked up to the rocks where the boys jumped off rocks into the blue water below.

The place is exactly as described, actually the pictures do not do it justice, it was beautiful and peaceful. We sat outside and rocked in the swing in the evening and just enjoyed the tranquility, In the laundry room there were boogie boards, snorkeling gear, umbrellas, and chairs, and ice chest, water shoes and more. Also very stocked with supplies in case you forget anything. Funny thing is a guest at another place came by to borrow milk and told me he had to spend 3 hours cleaning the place he rented before he could stay , I showed him Melanies place and he was shocked at the luxury. I strongly recommend this place and it will be my first choice when coming back. Thanks Melanie!!!!

The house is great everything we ever needed was here.

  • 3 of 5

The house is great the road to it is terrible, it takes 15 min to go three miles very very curvey. I have sensitive ears and the going up and down was terrible. No beach for swimming, but did watch the whales from the lani almost every day.

Nice property and views

  • 4 of 5

For self catering a great spot.Perhaps a little too far away from kona for a night out but that is just a minor inconvenience. If you organize your food, bring footwear suitable for rocky entrances to the beach and are prepared to drive to most places of interest then this is a good spot.

Happy Family

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed going out onto the lanai and listening to the ocean. We like the seclusion and not being drowned by street lights. The house was clean and had everything on need. We also enjoyed the short distant to go snorkeling.

Sounds of the Sea!

Wonderful Stay, Quite & secluded. The cool ocean breeze was wonderful & the sound of the surf at night was a great relaxer. Not to much of a Family spot, but if you are looking for peace and quite this is the spot!
