|Minimum Stay||4 - 6 nights|
180-degree unobstructed views are hard to come by. Imagine yourself sitting at the dining table or out on the balcony of this waterfront condo watching the action below you on Sail Bay -- water-skiers, kayakers & sail boats. Sip wine on the balcony as you watch the sunset over the ocean. Or walk around the bay ten minutes to the ocean to watch for the green flash. At night you'll see the two big paddle-wheel boats cruise right by your window. And you'll see the lights of the strand across the bay, and the moonlight reflecting off the water.
This non-smoking condo has a queen-size bed in the bedroom and a queen-size Murphy bed that pulls down from the wall right in front of the sliding glass doors giving you the sensation that you're sleeping over the water, and a queen sofabed, too!
staying In the condo....: * When you open the triple panel sliding glass door all the way, you'll feel like you're dining outside over the water.
* This is a very romantic place! It's professionally decorated in the colors of the extensive shell collection that's displayed on specially lit shelves and cabinets. There's adjustable mood lighting throughout the condo and the gas-log fireplace turns on in an instant!
* The condo has an underground parking garage with locked storage for my two beach-cruiser bicycles and beach toys. Amenities include unlimited phone service in the USA, cable TV, wireless cable internet access, flat screen TV, VCR, DVR with Premium Channels, stereo, a CD player, a fully-equipped kitchen, 300 count Egyptian cotton linens, washer/dryer, trash chute, and a charcoal barbecue grill.
* Join the action on the boardwalk -- riding bikes, skating, jogging, or just strolling at leisure. ASK us if this unit has AC!
Peace of Mind while you travel: * Why tie up a credit card with a security deposit when you could be using that money for your well deserved vacation? We offer optional Accidental Damage Insurance, in-lieu of a Security Deposit. When you include this insurance with your reservation, the cost & repair of covered accidental damage will be handled by us! Coverage: intentional damage to the vacation rental during your stay, up to $1,500, including things like carpet spills, furniture tears, broken lamps, & even pet damage in pet-friendly homes! * Travel Insurance Available: Protect your vacation investment from unexpected events. Did you know that vacation insurance could cover you if: You or a loved one gets sick (even if they aren't traveling with you)? You need medical treatment while traveling? A blizzard or hurricane prevents you from starting your vacation or forces you to leave early? And much more. * Call us today for more details or visit our website 'NancysVacationRentals' for more info.
Travel Insurance Available: * Located in the heart of Pacific Beach this apartment is in an area popular with young professionals & college crowds. It is not a quiet area in the summer or on school holiday weekends, but depending on what you are looking for, it could be just right. Live bands occasionally fill the evening air & nightclubs are plentiful along Garnet Ave. For most of the time, however, the neighborhood is pretty quiet. White noise machines are provided in each bedroom for light sleepers, as well as double pane windows throughout the property. * Prices are kept low because of the occasional noise & the proximity to the beach. If you read our guestbooks, you'll notice that the neighborhood noise doesn't bother most of our guests. Many feel that the savings more than makes up for a little noise & appreciate the fact that they can save money on lodging so it can be spent at places like Sea World & the Zoo. *We have other properties located in quiet, upscale neighborhoods if you prefer a quieter area.
Brian and I own and operate NancysVacationRentals in the San Diego beach communities near SeaWorld. Brian is the webmaster and I, along with my very talented nephew, Jeremy, plus a few hand picked employees, take care of our guests with the top-notch customer service that I learned during my 34 years as an International Flight Attendant and Purser with Pan Am and United. My mother, Betty, is our bookkeeper so it's a true family business, with over 50 rentals now, including one in Paris! Brian and I like to SCUBA dive, hike and ride bikes. We'd love to acquaint you with our favorite haunts in America's Finest City, San Diego. Nancy Kramer
Nancy's Vacation Rentals purchased this condo in 1990
We live in a historic gold rush town in the mountains NE of San Diego and needed a second home closer to the airport. We bought this condo on beautiful Sail Bay and used it for 11 years before I retired from the airlines. I started renting it out as a vacation rental and now my 'retirement' and first vacation rental has turned into a vacation rental business with 60 rentals, 10 of which are in this same fabulous building,Riviera Villas! This quiet upscale bay front area is the perfect convenient and scenic location for visiting San Diego!
Just wanted to let you know that our stay at 709 Law Street over Thanksgiving weekend was perfect. We loved the location and the amenities at the place.
Hanging out on the patio, walking down to watch the surfers and taking the bikes along the bike path to Belmont park were the best. It was a perfect fit for our family and we could even walk to our favorite seafood place (The Fishery) on Cass St. We definitely plan on staying again in the future.
This condo is in a lovely location, right on the beach. The boardwalk is right in front to enjoy people watching, walking, biking, skateboarding, rollerblading or whatever your preference is. The sunsets are also gorgeous. Restaurants and shops are close by. The only difficulty was all the codes to remember. There is a code for the building door, a code for the garage door, a code for the key box, a code to exit the garage and a code for the door of the condo. There is also a lock on the storage closet with a combination. This was quite overwhelming upon check in. After a week or so you get used to it, but for just a couple of days it would be confusing for us senior members. The bed was very comfortable and even the European bidet in the bathroom was a treat. The kitchen is very well stocked, so well that there is no room for groceries. It would be nice to have an empty cabinet to store unperishables in. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would absolutely stay here again.
This was a fantastic vacation. Even though people used the boardwalk. The access to the beach was limited to people who stayed in the building. It. Might as well have been a private beach. It was peaceful and extremely relaxing. No matter how much fun was being had during the day. It all ended promptly at night to give way to a quiet evening on the balcony enjoying the breeze and view over the water.
We enjoyed the unit itself and the close proximity to stores and bay
My wife and I enjoyed our time in this condo. The check in was easy and Nancy even decorated the condo for the holidays. We loved the layout and décor of the condo itself. The property was clean and provided all the amenities in order to cook for ourselves. The location is great for a relaxing time, or as a home base for other activities(Torrey Pines golf course, San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, etc). We walked along the bay to the ocean side and biked our way around the bay. There was good restaurants and shopping nearby. It is close to the bus route that will take you downtown.
Overall it was a great vacation and we were sad to see it end.
Our stay here was great! The condo was clean and the support staff was amazing, They quickly addressed the tire issure on the bikes. The bed is comfortable and there is so much to do here. I was here for a conference and this was a great place to call home for the week! I will be returning with my family for an actual vacation soon! The property was very clean, location is perfect, especially if you do not want to be in the heart of the tourists. This condo is walking distance to everything.
