About Tracy Hagman

We grew up in the Los Angeles area and have always enjoyed Big Bear. My husband's family has owned property in Big Bear Lake since the early 70's. Our family enjoys all the amenities Big Bear has to offer. Snowboarding, skiing, dual sporting, hiking, jeeping, biking & boating. We also enjoy the many great restaurants & shops. We also love to just hang out, relax watching movies while enjoying the view.

Tracy Hagman purchased this house in 1993

Why Tracy Hagman chose Moonridge

We love the many benefits that Big Bear has to offer. Great people, food, activites & weather. This house has been in the family for generations. Although it did not always look like this.

What makes this house unique

We love that you can ski, board, golf, hike, bike, sled, dual sport & 4 wheel right outside the front door of our home. No need to drive & find parking when all activites are right here. We park our boat at the Pine Knot Marina in the summer & enjoy sunset boat rides.

By far the best home we have stayed in at Big Bear!

  • 5 of 5

This home has everything we wanted and needed, and we left Big Bear very happy and satisfied with the stay. This is the third year of our annual Big Bear trip, and we have stayed at a different home every year but that is going to change with our trip next year. This home has plenty of space at 3,200 square feet to accomodate 13 people (8 adults, 4 kids, and 1 infant), and its high ceiling throughout the home makes it even more spacious. The home also shows a lot of personality and attention to detail with a lot of awesome decors, and the kids were amazed with their findings.

The home is walking distance from the Bear Mountain Ski Resort, and we walked the kids to their snowboard/ski lessons without having to pay for parking and that's awesome. The walk from the home to Bear Mountain was a breeze given that it was downhill, but the return walk definitely tested the adults' fitness level. The home has plenty of hiking trails behind it and we are already thinking about the outdoor activities we are going to do next time.

It's a bummer that Big Bear did not have much snow during our recent stay, otherwise there would've been a lot of snow play for the kids around the home. We are extremely satisified with this home and the responsiveness of the home owners (Tracy), and will definitely come back here for our future trips.

Great Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We spent Thanksgiving weekend here with 4 families and had a great time. The home was really clean and inviting and everybody loved it. They took the time to put small decorations up for Thanksgiving which was very nice as well. The house is large and fits 4 families nicely. The family room had 4 couches which allowed plenty of room for everybody to sit together. If you are into off-roading this house is the last house before you enter the trails and which was a huge plus for us. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful spacious cabin

  • 5 of 5

We spent the weekend here, total of 8 people incl young children. It was a perfect cabin for us. The kids loved the lower level room. Great location next to Bear Mountain and amazing areas surrounding house for snow play (even though there wasn't snow during our stay) but lots of great nature walks! The house felt very clean which was of utmost importance to us. We would no doubt stay here again. The only negative to consider is that we had issues with the hot water both days with everyone taking showers and kids taking baths so we learned to space out the showers and then it was fine.

Big Bear Family Trip

  • 4 of 5

The house was very nice, a few things that we did not like , NO access to the garage so even though it says parking for 5 cars only 3 can park there. The keys for the house did not work, which leaves you a little uneasy when you have to go out. The rooms were great and the living room and kitchen amazing. They had everything you could possibly need to cook. I would stay here again, very nice house!
