Our privately-owned, SIXTH FLOOR condominium (VRBO 21787) has magnificent ocean views. It has a High End Remodel and is truly a 'Home Away From Home' and a great Maui Vacation Rental.

Kihei Akahi Resort Condominium is located in the southern part of Kihei, just off the edge of Wailea Resort Area. The grounds are meticulously maintained with blooming flowers everywhere and the private lanai is perfect for dining or watching the sunsets. Some of Maui's finest swimming beaches are in this area. Pictures of Kamaole Beach Park 2 are shown on our website.

It is a soft sand beach, that gradually slopes out and is great for both swimming and snorkeling.

The resort also features two pools and a free tennis court on the premises. Around the pools are barbecues and refrigerator for a convenient snack or drink while sunning. Golf is nearby, and many shops and restaurants are within walking distance. South Maui is a quiet and peaceful area, yet the 5 star hotels of Wailkea are just minutes away.

WE PRIVATELY OWN: two one bedroom condos in the C building. They are units C-518 and C-604. In the D building we own D-504 which is a one bedroom condo, and D-602 which is a two bedroom condo.

All of our units have been redone. They all have new kitchens, new baths with walk-in showers. new king size beds, air conditioning and free wireless internet. They all are elegantly furnished and well coordinated. Everything you need will be there, including beach towels and beach chairs. Most important - they are maintained with a very high level of CLEANLINESS. ALL of the feedback on our condos comes back that they were very clean.

Great location and view!

Very clean upgraded condo. Great view of the ocean. Very close to the beach and local restaurants. Comes with beach chairs, umbrella and a fully equipped kitchen. Very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again next time.

Nice getaway

Right across the road from a beautiful beach. The beach is not too busy and is very safe to swim in, with lifeguards too. Turtles swim right up near the shore, so that's always exciting.

The lanai has a great panoramic view.

Joan was lovely to deal with and always went out of her way to make our stay pleasant. The use of the tommy Bahama beach chairs was so good that we bought some when we got home !

The only small "fault" was that it clean but not spotless when we got there, but it was perfect in every other way

Great location!

very clean condo with comfortable accommodations. Free easy parking available right there. Location is great, 200 yards from the beach, walking distance from food and stores. Also convenient to a couple of dive shops and surf shops if you want to try those adventures. Beach across from the condo is great! Best for couples or families with one child as long as kid doesn't mind the sleeper sofa. Overall a great value for the money.

Review of Kihei Akahi D504

Going to Mauii for us is the beaches, the scenery, the food and just plain relaxing. The Kihei Akahi D504 condo met all of our expectations and more. The view of the ocean from the lanai, whether first thing in the morning or sunset was spectacular. It is located directly across the street from our favorite beach Kamiola II, and there are several restaurants within walking distance. The condo itself was very comfortable, clean and included a designated parking place. It was so nice to come back after going some place and not having to scramble for a parking spot. The condo worked very well for us and we are looking forward to staying there again.

Excellent value and an excellent location!

Let's face it. You are going to Hawaii for the beaches! If you want to spend mega $, try one of the fancy hotels. If you want a more relaxed and less expensive option, rent a condo! This condo (Kihei Akahi D504) is in an excellent location! We walked to the beach (just across the street), to great restaurants, to good shopping, and of course, to the best shave-ice on the island! But - don't forget those times when you just want to sit on the balcony and stare at the view. This condo offers a wonderful view! We saw many jaw-dropping sunsets with a glass of wine in our hands and the afternoon breeze in our hair.

Joan was wonderful to work with. The whole rental process was extremely easy and quick. The condo has everything you will need and is exceptionally clean. We visited with my son and his family, who live in Kihei, and had no concerns about the baby roaming the floor. We cooked several times (we don't often do this, but with a baby, it's easier), using the barbeque by the pool. We also don't usually watch TV while on vacation, but as San Francisco Giants fans, we HAD to watch Game 7 of the World Series! The TV was great, the wifi connection was great. We really liked having the washer/dryer in the unit! I highly recommend this condo. Thanks Joan!!
