If waking up to private and unobstructed views of sunrises, sunsets and the entire island than our Penthouse unit #701 is definitely the property to consider for your next getaway. Our 1650 square foot unit is located in the newest Ixchel Condo phase-II which is positioned right on Playa Norte beach, truly the most spectacular white sand beach in the entire Mayan Riviera. As you exit the elevator into the lobby from your private Penthouse condo it is only a few steps past our refreshing pool (with large in pool tanning ledge) and you step out onto the soft sand beach which offers warm turquoise waters ready for all water activities or maybe just leisurely float with friends and your favorite cool beverage. Ixchel-II offers complimentary beach towel, beach loungers, umbrellas and beverage/food service right to the waters edge. Bring your own refreshments or just allow yourself to be spoiled and pampered by the friendly staff.

After a full day of sun and sand just return to your Penthouse retreat to relax and refresh with a cool shower. The 660 square foot L-shaped terrace provides you with a shaded covered area, all day tanning area and unlimited choices of island views from the tallest vista on the island. This unit also offers you the choice of preparing meals or snacks from your well equipped kitchen or just call for room service.

In the evening after toasting your personal sunset its just a short 1/2 block walk to Hidalgo Street, take a leisurely stroll up the quaint cobblestone main street of Isla and investigate the smorgasbord of ethnic restaurants, retail shops (featuring the local artisans)live entertainment and exceptional local restaurants specializing in fresh seafood and traditional Mayan cuisine. We had a perfect time staying in #701. It is our new favorite place to stay. We usually stay in #709 but we like your home. It is much larger, the bathrooms are much bigger, and the beachview and the downtown view are the best. We visit each year ( maybe more in the future) and we will only stay here from now on.!

Beautiful condo, spectacular views!

My wife and I recently had the privilege of staying 2 weeks at Ixchel, Penthouse #701.

The condo in Ixchel Beach Hotel is located close to all amenities, restaurants and shops. Ixchel faces the beautiful white sands of Playa Norte and the stunning turquoise waters of the Caribbean.

Words cannot adequately describe the pleasure and enjoyment of morning coffee on the incredible terrace of this amazing condo. How awesome it was to start our day with stunning and captivating island views and views of Playa Norte (voted as one of the best beaches in the world). It is truly spectacular. Probably the best terrace view on Isla Mujeres.

The staff at Ixchel are very welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. The condo is very nicely furnished and decorated and had everything we needed; comfortable bed, two bathrooms, nice kitchen with all the appliances, large fridge with ice-maker, wine cooler, coffee maker, blender, WiFi, comfortable terrace furniture and padded benches.

Thank you Brent and Day for sharing your beautiful condo and we genuinely would like to say that our stay on Isla Mujeres was very much enhanced by staying at your condo.

We look forward to our next vacation and stay at your magnificent place. Muchas gracias!

Always Our First Choice!

My husband and I try to travel to Isla Mujeres 2-4 times each year. As a result, we have stayed in this unit many many times. It's always our first choice for a place to stay and by now we feel like it's our home away from home. Everything from the luxury accommodations to the unparalleled 360 island view is perfection! The location is within walking distance to all of the wonderful bars and restaurants in El Centro and right on one of the best beaches on Isla. And although this unit is limited to 2 guests, there are plenty of other units for rent at Ixchel I and II if you have a larger party to accommodate.

You seriously cannot find a better place to stay!!

Fabulous view and location

The rooftop patio offers a stunning, nearly 360-degree view of the ocean and the rest of the island. The beach is gorgeous although it can get a bit crowded. Drinks and food service under the comfort of your umbrella was just like a vacation should be. Housekeeping staff for the unit were amazing-- the suite was thoroughly cleaned each day, including dirty dishes and restocking coffee. A big plus: The automatic ice maker in the freezer is plumbed to bottled water.

Tropical Paradise

My wife and I spent 9 nights in your penthouse condo. It was truly fabulous. The spacious penthouse is beautifully and comfortably furnished. The kitchen was well equipped for making breakfast and lunches. The large refrig with ice machine was much appreciated. The terrace is fantastic, with all day sun and ocean breezes at night. We had perfect weather the entire stay.

Reserving the penthouse through VRBO was easy. Communication with Brent was reliable and fast. Thank you!

The staff at Ixchel are friendly and always helpful.

The beach is world class and the hotel beach staff provide chairs and umbrellas at any time.

We especially enjoyed the proximity of the property to town, making restaurants and the supermarket a short walk.

We utilized the Ixchel ground and ferry transportation and found the round trip arrangements to be seamless.

When we return to Isla Mujeres, this is where we hope to stay again!
