Wonderful Big Sky Mountain Home

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful home located on very private acreage in the mountains with direct access to the Beehive Basin Trail. The views are fantastic and wildlife abundant in the area. The home is well appointed and very comfortable for a large group, and the kitchen has everything you need for those that like to cook. Great location to explore the Big Sky area and all that it has to offer. Our group took advantage of many activities in the area including hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, zip lining, fly fishing and exploring Yellowstone. The house is a perfect home base with easy access to lots of activities around Big Sky. The large deck, hot tub and fire pit were enjoyed by all every night during our stay. I would highly recommend this home for a large group as there is lots of room to spread out on 3 levels. The owner is great to work with and the home is very well maintained. We look forward to returning for another visit one day.

Great remote vacation

  • 5 of 5

What a spectacular place. The views from the house are just breathtaking, the pictures do not do it justice. We had a large group of 15 professionals and the cabin owner worked with us to arrange for accommodation for the large group. We found the house stocked with supplies and everything was in working order. Lots of activities to do in and around big sky not to mention Yellowstone is an hour away. Loved it!

Best family vacation!!!

  • 5 of 5

We drove all the way from Houston, TX in early June. It was worth every hour in the car. The house was incredible. We had a group of 9 and we fit very comfortably, with room for more!!!! The house was clean and was stocked with EVERYTHING we needed. The view was absolutely breathtaking. We were so excited when we saw moose and elk. We even had a friendly little visitor the last couple days, a cute little silver fox. We were able to grill and enjoy meals on the back patio. It was so relaxing. The weather was perfect. It was very cool in the mornings/evenings and warm during the day. We took the trails right off the house and hiked up to Spanish Peaks. We even hiked through a couple feet of snow!! The guys ventured down to the fly fish shop and rented equipment and enjoyed fishing in the Gallatin River. The whole trip was a wonderful experience. The food market and the Big Sky Resort are just a couple miles away from the house. The owner was wonderful to work with. He got back with us very quickly and was so nice and personable. The experience from the very begining to the end was wonderful. It exceeded ALL of our expectations. We are already planning our next trip Crooked Creek.

One of a Kind Experience!

  • 5 of 5

Our group of 9 stayed at Crooked Creek Ranch in mid-June. The house is an architecturally spectacular log structure, very well appointed and comfortable with plenty of room for us to spread out. The property was very private, well maintained and fully stocked. The views were absolutely breathtaking with beautiful hiking trails right out the front door into the adjoining National Forest. We used the property as home base and enjoyed hiking, horseback riding and exploring Yellowstone and the surrounding areas. The wild flowers were in full bloom blanketing the meadows and the wildlife was abundant. The last morning at the house we woke up to what appeared to be 100 elk including at least 30 fawns that had bedded down around the house. During the visit, in addition to numerous elk sightings we also saw a many deer, several moose, and a silver fox that stopped by for a couple of hours looking for a handout, all without leaving the property. The owner was a pleasure to work with from the time we booked until we walked out the door. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to another visit sometime in the near future.
