Reserved parking is conveniently located in front of the villa with additional guest parking nearby.

This villa features ocean views from every room and offers a private ground floor entry lanai and expanded lawn area for a game of smash ball or lounging in the sun. Wake up to experience spectacular ocean from your private lanai. A fully equipped gourmet kitchen includes everything needed to prepare meals for the whole family.

The Master Bedroom enSuite features a deluxe King Size Bed with flat panel HDTV w/DVD player and Desk Area with Secure FREE WIFI access throughout . Bedroom 2 has a Queen Size Bed with flat panel HDTV w/DVD player and Desk Area. Bedroom 3 has flat panel HDTV w/DVD player and 2 Twin Beds. A Queen Sleeper Sofa is also included in the living room. Port-a-Cribs are available by request in your reservation comments for additional $50 fee.

This Hali'i Kai property is professionaly represented by Sandy Vacations, LLC a family owned and operated business since 1999! This unit was way more than we had expected. We had stayed before at Waikoloa however at a different property. The unit is beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything (except food of course) that you need. We especially enjoyed the lanai as it faced the ocean and we were able to spend every evening watching the sunset as well as morning coffee watching the whales. The club and pool area is fantastic. You are right on the water and the view is spectacular!!! Only concern when we were there is the lack of a grill. There was a community grill at the pool club, but it was usually being used and never worked properly. However we understand that Hali'i Kai has installed more around the property to help with this concern. We highly recommend this unit, we hope to get back to Big Island and enjoy it again.

Great location; unit needs help

Check in was no problem. Unit has several problems. In kitchen: Microwave non-functioning. Dishwasher soap dispenser doesn't work. Frying pans warped and scraped. Knives dull. Dining room chair cushions very soft and you sink down very low. Outdoor grill corroded and non-functioning. Sofa pillows and carpets filthy and stained. Looks like they have never been cleaned. No fan control in MBR. Mattress and bed squeak very loudly when you move around on bed. Master bathroom shower tile needs cleaning. Shower door is grimy. All the bed blankets have holes. Floor in entrance had obviously not been swept nor cleaned. Soft soap dispenser had been refilled with water. There were very limited supplies. No laundry soap, no additional roll of paper towels, no additional trash bags. It needs TLC!!!!

Owner's Response: We regret not hearing from this guest during their stay so we may have been able to resolve some of their concerns. New frying pans and blankets have been brought to this unit. There is a grill at the nearby oceanfront pool which is maintained daily for your enjoyment. The ceiling fans are all controlled by remote controls and the operation is outlined in our app. We provide a starter supply of consumable items for your convenience.

This condo has a wonderful location with the lanai overlooking the golf course and ocean and the community pool is stunning with great Mai Tias; however, the condo is a bit disgusting. The bathroom sinks didn't drain and a cockroach fell into one but drowned quickly. We then made sure nothing was on the floor and the luggage was all zipped. The carpet is stained and looks awful. The condo footprint is very comfortable and the art in the unit is lovely. The greatest frustration with the vacation was dealing with Sandy Vacations, initially they were responsive but once the final payment was made they wouldn't respond to my request for check-in information until just before we left which was 5-6 weeks after the date the contract stated they would send the information, was rather irritating and stressful.

Owner's Response: All bathroom sinks are draining properly. The island will attract 'unwanted' guests. We do provide plastic containers to keep cereal and dry foods tightly sealed. It is a good idea to keep most items in the refrigerator as well. If you shop at Costco or other island locations be careful not to bring boxes into the unit as this is where roaches will hide and come into the unit with you. It is necessary to delay the final confirmation depending on the guest arrival to ensure the most current gate codes are issued as the codes change regularly.

The location was fantastic! Overall, the unit was very nice, although there were a few things I noticed which were inconvenient: When we entered, the first thing noticed was a window screen leaning up against the foyer wall. I wondered why someone left a screen and did not store it or replace it on a window in need of it. The TV in living room wasn't hooked up with connection cords. Luckily, one person within our family was able to figure out the proper connection. A couple light bulbs were burnt out with no replacements bulbs in the unit. A lamp switch in the smaller bedroom was broken, only allowing the far lamp in the room to supply the lighting. The dining chairs could use replacement. When I sat in several of them, I sunk resulting in the dining table being too high for my eating comfort. The outside chairs are really heavy and I was mindful not to take off my toes when moving them. I would recommend the pros of this unit to a friend, specifically the location and views. However, I don't believe I would stay here again. Additionally, there was a $10 fee per day that included complex entry and pool/fitness entry. I was unaware of this fee until we arrived.

Owner's Response: The window screen has been replaced. All light bulbs have been replaced and additional bulbs are stored in the kitchen cupboard. All lamps work off the wall switches, please do not move the plug to a different outlet. The development charges the $10/daily fee per family to access the oceanfront pool and restaurant.

Property was let down by substandard cleaning and maintenance. Dining table still had remnants of previous occupant's meals. Various remote controls had flat or no batteries. Many light bulbs needed replacement and blinds were broken. Bed was poorly made.

Owner's Response: We have addressed the cleanliness issues with housekeeping. All batteries and light bulbs have been replaced and spare bulbs are left in the cupboard for our guest convenience as they can go out immediately after pre-arrival inspection. The blinds have been repaired.

This is the second time we have rented from you. It is a great unit and the location is perfect. There are some things that need to be addressed, as the property is beginning to show its wear and tear. These are: Guest bedroom #3, left lamp broken switch, no bulb Guest bath, night light had no bulb Used qtips left under bed in bedroom #3 Lamp in master bedroom did not work Outside electric receptacle does not work guest bedroom #2, desk lamp had no light bulb guest bathroom, hairdryer broken microwave handle missing TV in living room we never got to work Lamp in the living room did not work TV controlers in living room need instructions Dining room chair legs are wobbly. We had a marvelous time and hope to return. Thank you, The Newland Family

Owner's Response: The bedroom and living room lamps work off the wall switch. The living room lamp has two wall switches. It may be necessary to flip either one and turn the light switch on at the lamp. It is best to operate all lamps from the wall switch for the most convenience. The TV remote has a button for TV power and a button for Cable power. Both the TV and Cable must be turned on for the living room TV to work properly. Instructions are being added to our app. The hairdryer has been replaced and the microwave has been replaced. Dining room chair legs have been tightened.
