This stunning condo is a well equipped, one bedroom end unit with a wonderful lagoon/ocean view and excellent location overlooking the beach and Kiahuna Plantation grounds. This Hawaii condo is a second floor (2 story building), one bedroom end unit (end units are preferred--more air through louvers, more view and more privacy) with full kitchen and large private lanai. The unit has king size bed, queen sofa bed living room, newly remodeled granite kitchen, marble/stone bathroom, new Tropitone 'Sling' lanai furniture, and has been upgraded and very well maintained. Newly installed Koa wood cabinets/drawers kitchen and vanity. We are unit 239 in building #36, a prime spot! Please check our website link below for a downloadable map of the grounds which shows location of our unit. The property adjoins Poipu Beach, a white sand beach. Free amenities include use of beach chairs, towels, barbecues, tennis, pool, cable television (2 new TVs), stereo, internet access. Hi def TV... most units do not have true hi def..over 100 channels. We have owned this unit since 1987 and have consistently maintained an 'A' rating from the property management company. In the past couple of years the unit has been upgraded..new marble/stone shower enclosure, granite kitchen, new lanai furniture (Tropitone 'Sling'), TVs (living room and bedroom) all Koa wood cabinets and drawers kitchen and
vanity, new koa upscale fans with remote controls, etc. etc. We are continually upgrading and maintaining our unit. We have many guests that have been returning for many years to our unit. All guests love the view and location (in center of property and near restaurant and activities desk). Great lagoon ocean view and end unit so more air flow, more privacy and more view.
2-3 min walk to beach which is like a private beach with free use of beach chairs and towels.New BBQ next to our building and convenient parking nearby. Unit has beach umbrella, cooler, flashlights, boogie boards and extra beach chairs. Large new bar b q station in front of bldg by lagoon with seating by lagoon. Only bar b qs on the property with seating.
We had a great vacation and condo was everything we could hope for..website pics truly reflect what we experienced.Enjoyed breakfast on lanai and appreciated the beach gear, cooler etc. Condo very well maintained and modern. Thankyou for our first family trip to Kauai..so memorable. Sarah
This is a wonderful condo at a great location. We enjoyed the lanai (morning coffee with the lovely gardens and the view of the ocean, evening star gazing), the kitchen was well equipped and the furnishings very nice. The short walk to the beach was the crowning touch. We will definitely stay at this unit again.
We had a wonderful stay at unit 239. The unit is very clean and tastefully remodeled. The lanai also offers a stunning ocean view. Loved being on this quiet end unit and woke to the sounds of birds singing every morning. The beach is a short walk away and so is the pool and tennis complex. We can't wait to come back! Mahalo!!
We recently returned from a one month stay in this unit-we have been fortunate enough to be able to rent it for a number of years. There is nothing not to like about it. Location is really great with an ocean view. Decor is updated and tastefully done. The owner-Bill-is extremely easy to communicate with and dependable. All in all, a great experience. Hope to rent for many more years.
My wife and I stayed at the Kiahuna Plantation last year and booked this condo for a return because of its location. We were pleasantly surprised at the very nice furnishings throughout and the attention to detail that the owner chose in order to make one feel that they were at their own unit! Bill, the owner, was very easy to communicate with and was a pleasure to deal with. The view from this unit is very good with a large balcony. We especially enjoyed the beach this trip as opposed to the pool across the street which sometimes gets a bit crowed, but the grass area right on the beach is terrific and the fact that they provide chairs, lounges and towels right there makes it very accommodating. All in all a great place to stay and a great unit to stay in!
Great condo - very well kept up and the owner (Bill) was very easy to deal with. Location was awesome - nice view of the ocean from the lanai and just a very short walk to the beach. The second floor location on the end provided great breezes throughout the unit. We were never hot at all and the nights were perfect for sleeping. Bed was very comfortable and the lanai was great - loved sitting on it with a cup of coffee in the mornings. Lots of good shops within a short walk or drive. We cooked in the condo a lot but there are some nice eating spots nearby that we also frequented. Try the Kauai burger at Bubba's Burgers and a shave ice at Uncle's Shave Ice in the Kukui'ula Shopping Village just a mile west on Poipu Road. Brennecke's on the beach is a good restaurant with reasonable prices and a great view. Walk down the beach to the east - we saw whales, sea turtles, monk seals, and dolphins just east of Poipu Beach. Snorkeling was also awesome. You can go just a few feet offshore and see literally hundreds of fish. Best place to snorkel we found was at Poipu Beach Park. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely rent this place again!
Great condo on the second floor corner unit! Very peaceful and in a laid back atmosphere. Large unit with a big balcony you could stretch out on. Nice small beach in front of the area and The Sheraton close by for dinners, snacks, etc but the Kiahuna Plantation restaurant is the best. Well supplied kitchen and bathroom. Overall a great stay!
BBQs by lagoon near building ..only place on property with benches and tables for dining....new BBQ station next to building. Beach Hut--free towels and beach chairs. Members Poipu Beach Athletic Club..pool, workout facility, tennis
