This stunning condo is a well equipped, one bedroom end unit with a wonderful lagoon/ocean view and excellent location overlooking the beach and Kiahuna Plantation grounds. This Hawaii condo is a second floor (2 story building), one bedroom end unit (end units are preferred--more air through louvers, more view and more privacy) with full kitchen and large private lanai. The unit has king size bed, queen sofa bed living room, newly remodeled granite kitchen, marble/stone bathroom, new Tropitone 'Sling' lanai furniture, and has been upgraded and very well maintained. Newly installed Koa wood cabinets/drawers kitchen and vanity. We are unit 239 in building #36, a prime spot! Please check our website link below for a downloadable map of the grounds which shows location of our unit. The property adjoins Poipu Beach, a white sand beach. Free amenities include use of beach chairs, towels, barbecues, tennis, pool, cable television (2 new TVs), stereo, internet access. Hi def TV... most units do not have true hi def..over 100 channels. A Hawaii condo in paradise.Owners since 1987.Extra beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler and beach umbrella in closet. We are members of the Poipu Beach Athletic Club formerly Kiahuna Swim and Tennis Club... free use of pool, tennis courts and workout facility. Great location near restaurant, bar and activities desk. Easy parking near unit. Unit completely equipped ..boogie boards, beach umbrellas, extra beach chairs, umbrellas, flashlights etc. etc.New high end ceiling fans living room and bedroom.

We have owned this unit since 1987 and have consistently maintained an 'A' rating from the property management company. In the past couple of years the unit has been upgraded..new marble/stone shower enclosure, granite kitchen, new lanai furniture (Tropitone 'Sling'), TVs (living room and bedroom) all Koa wood cabinets and drawers kitchen and
vanity, new koa upscale fans with remote controls, etc. etc. We are continually upgrading and maintaining our unit. We have many guests that have been returning for many years to our unit. All guests love the view and location (in center of property and near restaurant and activities desk). Great lagoon ocean view and end unit so more air flow, more privacy and more view.
2-3 min walk to beach which is like a private beach with free use of beach chairs and towels.New BBQ next to our building and convenient parking nearby. Unit has beach umbrella, cooler, flashlights, boogie boards and extra beach chairs. Large new bar b q station in front of bldg by lagoon with seating by lagoon. Only bar b qs on the property with seating.
We had a great vacation and condo was everything we could hope for..website pics truly reflect what we experienced.Enjoyed breakfast on lanai and appreciated the beach gear, cooler etc. Condo very well maintained and modern. Thankyou for our first family trip to Kauai..so memorable. Sarah
This was my husband and my first trip to Kauai and it was recommended to stay in Poipu area. After reading several reviews on the property, we chose to stay in unit 239. The unit has a lovely view of the ocean from the lanai . We had breakfast on the lanai every morning as there was a small, round table with 4 chairs, as well as two loungers. The decor in the unit was very comfortable and new. The kitchen was well equipped and the king bed was very comfortable. There is no a/c in the unit, however this was not a problem for sleeping. The unit is a corner unit on the second floor. There is a ceiling fan over the bed, as well as a fan in the living room area. There was always a breeze in the evening to keep the temperature comfortable. A very short walk to the gorgeous beach where several chairs are provided. The sunsets from this area are spectacular. The grounds are well maintained. A shopping centre across the road had Starbucks, several restaurants and a small convenience store. I totally appreciated a welcome orientation from Expedia Travel. We received loads of information about Kauai, as well as available tours. Bill was very easy to deal with and extremely prompt in answering any of our questions. I would highly recommend staying in this unit.
I stayed at unit 239 with my daughter and toddler granddaughter for a week, and It was pretty near perfect. The unit has a great location, view, and upgraded decor. We especially appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella and the well-appointed kitchen. We liked that we could walk for supplies or restaurants. The pool provided a wonderfully safe experience for my granddaughter....within days she was a total water baby. We loved it too.
Bill was very accomodating and helpful when we had to change our plans at the last minute.
We have stayed at Kiahuna Plantation 3 times in the past 3 years and, in particular, have stayed in Unit 239 twice. The resort is unbelievable and Unit 239 is exceptional. The unit has everything you need for your vacation and is very clean. It has a wonderful lanai and the view is spectacular. The king size bed is also very comfortable and there is a fantastic breeze being an end unit. Also, the owner was very easy to deal with. The beach which is a one minute walk from the unit is great. The resort is the kind of place I always dreamed of staying at. Great for kids, teens and adults. I highly recommend it. You won't want to leave.
My husband and I stayed in this condo for 13 wonderful days. We so enjoyed breakfast on the lanai in the morning and the view. There were multiple fans which helped to keep the air moving. Having a top floor condo with extra windows was also a plus to cool off the rooms. The bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay. This condo is very centrally located to everything we needed - towels, beach, orchid and Moir gardens and the restaurants/shops right across the street. A couple of minor things needed fixing and these were taken care of quickly. Bill responded quickly to all of my communications which I greatly appreciated! We would definitely stay in this condo on return trips to the Poipu area.
Bill (owner) and his wife have a lovely condo at Kiahuna Plantation that is fully stocked with everything guests need. It is a 5-minute walk to the beach and there are towels and chairs to use for free at the hut by the ocean. This is an end unit on the top floor so it's quiet with a partial ocean view. The Poipu shopping village is across the road where there are restaurants, Starbucks and shops. We had a very comfortable stay and would recommend this.
My wife and I spent a week here on our first trip to Kauia. After spending a busy week in Maui and a week on the big island this was a welcome and relaxing stay. The unit was very week decorated and spacious. Everything we needed for our stay was provided right down to a flashlight for walking the grounds at night. You can spend time visiting the island sites or rake a break and spend time on the grounds or at the beach. Everything you need is very close including some good places to eat. Thank you we really enjoyed it.
