Shop 300 m, railway station Le Bouveret, pebble beach, outdoor swimming pool 300 m, bathing lake Léman 300 m. Sports harbour 900 m, golf course (18 hole) 15 km, tennis 300 m, minigolf 11 km. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Les Portes du Soleil, Villars-sur-Ollon, Leysin. Please note: private mooring (extra) on request.

Nice Stay, Tough Ending
The apartment was as advertised: light and bright and nicely decorated. And the lake and surrounding mountains are picturesque.
But be careful. The owner had explained about getting a ticket at the gate to drive into the marina, and using our key to activate the gate. But if you leave a car inside overnight without using the key (which we did by mistake) it can cost 36 Swiss francs.
When we left, we reported two broken glasses, one cracked in the dishwasher. The owner’s rep Magdalena inspected the apartment and returned our security deposit but charged18 Swiss francs for the two glasses. Those are pretty expensive glasses.
I wrote the owner about this as well as a couple cigarette butts in the floorboards outside the main door, some black spots in one of the showers and -- yikes! -- no corkscrew. The owner now says the charge was “for ... soap in the toilet.” I have no idea what that means.
We have rented through VRBO before and have never damaged a thing.
