This apartment was beyond our wildest dreams. The three balconies pointing in 3 different directions were the icing on the cake. This apartment was first class all the way. Felt so clean and new that is swear no one else has ever been there. Breathtaking views but also breathtaking stroll up from the apartment to the village. We were able to do this but those with mobility issues could not. There is a taxi service but we managed without using it. We are real walkers though. I simply can't say enough good about this unit. Pristine and awesome. I hope we will return and we would be broken hearted if we couldn't stay here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This property is exactly as depicted on the website--no surprises. Two bedrooms (one with ensuite bath, the other utilizing a bathroom down the hall) comfortable open living/dining/kitchen area. The kitchen is quite well equipped and fitted out with utensils, pans, bowls...whatever you need. The view is unspoiled by looking out over other houses, as is the case for most Wengen properties, but that also means it's a 10-12 minute uphill walk to the station. You definitely want to use one of the taxi services when arriving or departing with bags. But, if a little hill climbing is a deal breaker for you, then you might not want to visit the Berner Oberland. Overall, it is an otstanding property that I would highly recommend.
