STEAL OF A DEAL OPEN JULY 30-AUG 6

This is the last season this home will be available. Sadly, some people are not happy with anything, and the complaints of things that were fabricated for a refund , and found to be false, are causing the home to go away. Some guests make a habit of trying to get things for free.
I thank the thousands of happy guests that love this home for coming back every year and referring friends.
Homeaway auto quote does not work great on the auto pricing, so e mail or call to get a live person for help.

We Will Try To Accommodate Your Dates And Partial Weeks If It Works Out.
Your private waterfront retreat has arrived. 6 bedroom, 3 bath, 5100 sq feet of vacation paradise. This home is private 5.92 acres, cozy, yet large, has a pool table, lots of rooms to play poker, cards, board games, hike the property, read, watch movies, sip hot chocolate, or drive to Schweitzer to ski (approx 30 easy miles )and town to dine (Sandpoint and Priest River are close) Horse sleigh rides are a mile up the road, Schweitzer discount passes are avail, call for info. The sand is on the beach. There is room to pitch tents or horseshoes, and a firepit when season permits
Family reunions and getaways: This home is well built, clean, and comfortable. Come in winter or summer to this big, 5,100 square-foot home. Don't let the rates scare you; it's a deal when divided among a group desiring to enjoy private, luxury, river acreage.
Situated in a park like setting with a flat lawn to the water, this home is perfect for family vacations, and family reunions. Group sizes may affect rates. We welcome small groups, as well.
The 220 feet of waterfront and sandy beaches are great for kids. The beach opens into the great Pend Oreille River. There is boat beaching right on the property. The waterfront has some shallow parts that the kids have a blast paddleboating around in. We provide a couple of free paddleboats with rental. The home's private vast water area shelters the waves and boats on the main part of the river, but it does not block your grand view of everything.
Enjoy the river views and play volleyball, barbecue or sunbathe.
Take a walk or jog up and back on the six acres of private road -- amidst pine trees, lawn, and pastures. Pick a fresh apple or cherry in season during your walk. Take a photo of that pesky raccoon that visits. Moose, deer, and bear have been known to mosey through the neighborhood.
Picnic tables, a deck, a canopy for those hot days by the water, barbecues, dishes, and utensils are all here!
If you like camping without the interference of a close camper, bring a few tents. While mom and dad sleep in the cozy master bedroom overlooking the tents and river, kids can enjoy outdoor sleeping.
There is a large hot tub on the deck; so you can watch your friends water-ski from one angle, and look into the house to see who's winning a game of pool from the other angle.
On the main floor, of the 2 floors, there is a large kitchen which has a casual dining area. This adjoins the connected dining and living room.
Here we have a pool table, TV, huge sofa that is beyond large and comfortable, a fireplace, a more formal dining table, and a sofa and love seat. On the main floor as well, we have a bathroom, laundry room and newly added bedroom.
Our upstairs features mostly sleeping areas. The Master hails a King bed, and the adjoining 440 Sq. ft. of master has a sitting room, fireplace and bathroom. Next we have a large bedroom with 2 Queen beds. A normal sized bedroom offers a Queen bed. The kiddie Room, which adults can use as well, has 6 twin beds and a queen, and even room to play games. It should be a favorite. The next bedroom has a queen bed, and a king.
Downstairs, we decided to add another bedroom, to make a total of 6. This room will has a queen bed, and is great for those who don't want to climb the stairs. The home is just 18 miles from the heart of Sandpoint, and 6 miles from the town of Priest River and is worth the easy drive.
This is a great home, there are no granite countertops, but most people enjoy the views, waterfront, snow and home just as it is. This is North Idaho, a comfortable home for down to earth folks. No high maintenance guests allowed, there are $2000.00 a night homes for those guests.
Due to a group that just could not be satisfied for anything, and hundreds of happy people before them, Martina will no longer be managing this home after my next few guests. Life and Cancer are too short to listen to people that have false gripes.
I have hosted 3 Craft Retreats at this property in the spring and fall since 2010. I absolutely L-O-V-E this house! The largest number of gals I have hosted has been 14. There are enough beds to accommodate all of us comfortably. Our 4 day / 3 night stay is very calm, quite and tranquil. The hot tub is a real draw for the ladies. The kitchen has 2 refrigerators (no automatice ice makers) is a huge bonus. The kitchen even has two coffee makers!
There are extra tables and chairs in the garage to use. The parking area was big enough for ALL our vehicles. Not very many steps to get into the house either. This is helpful for the older generation.
There isn't another rental house out there like this one. The living room and formal dining room is sooo big we all can fit in to do our craft. That is such a blessing - fellowship is such a huge part of our retreats.
Our motto is SCRAP - EAT - SLEEP - REPEAT!
It was simply mindblowing. Very neat and clean and well maintained place. Martina was really sweet and helpfull. The house had so much space that it is simply beyond words. Beauiful views and simply exceptional. We will definitely be visiting the place once again
We loved this home, it was everything you would want in a vacation rental. The property was amazing with its beautiful waterfront sand beach, hot tub and pool table. The home was clean and confortable. My family has been on many vacations but this one stands above every other vacation we have had. We were able to pay volleyball on the large grass area between the home and the beach and the weather in Sandpoint was outstanding. I highly recommend this home if you are looking to unwind for a week, its the ultimate place to do it. Thank you for the memories!!!!
This property was perfect for our family vacation consisting of 6 families with 19 people. Everyone slept comfortably and did not feel the need to go elswhere to be entertained with the close proximity of the beach, fishing, boating, hot tub, etc. The view is beautiful!
The house was very clean and the kitchen and bedrooms were well stocked. The owner is exceptionally responsive and great to work with.
We highly recommend this property .
My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. Great, peaceful place to relax. The manager is great at responding to your needs. The place has soo much room you always have somewhere to retreat to inside or out.
The paddle boats are fun for the whole family. We enjoyed being on the water and having the choice not to get wet. We swam of course, and it was refreshingly cold and calm.
The well-maintained hot tub and pool table are exciting perks. As are the supplied videos for your entertainment.
They even supply toys and a high chair for little kids too.
Almost everything we could ever want was there for us to enjoy.
My family's age range from toddler-elderly.
Why not rate it excellent you may ask? Well, some of us are videogameaholics and neat freaks. Some cleaning under the couches was needed and mending of couch pillows...no biggy. I would say Very Good/Great rating.
We will definately rent again. Our family and friends were so impressed by their stay there and our comments that they are considering renting for the first time.

You are 6 miles from the town of Priest River, and about 20 minutes from Silverwood Theme Park and Sandpoint. Silverwood discount tickets are available, and they have great wooden coasters, rides and an all age perfect water park to relax in when you cannot water ski, wakeboard or boat any more :) The water park has slides, a wave pool, a lazy river and small child water play area.
Boat and sea doo rentals are available for delivery to this home as well.
Don't miss one of the last great big homes, on the water. It's like a park in a private paradise.
