Kerrville Studio

The property was nice, the owners were nice and was in a nice location with a lot of deer to view. But the hot water was a disaster(they undoubtedly knew there was a problem) the first night we couldn’t even take a shower because there was no hot water. The second night we did get somewhat of a shower after we had to reset the breaker 4 times per shower. The owners definitely need to get this problem resolved before renting the unit again. The amenities also stated the was internet and Tv. There was no internet and the Tv only has 3 channels which was pretty much useless. I would have to be assured the issues had been corrected before I would consider returning.

Nice location but NOT ready for guest

I usually dont book a place without lots of reviews, however it was a last minute trip and there was not much available close to Fredericksburg. This host is not ready for guest. They knew of several of the big problems and still let us stay. PROS: Nice host, pretty yard, quiet country, CONS: NO hot water, circuits to water heater kept shutting off, (they knew about this) I had to take sponge baths all weekend. Thought I would boil water to bathe so I could wash hair and all the water leaked out on floor, Dead animal smell in bathroom so strong I had to keep window open whole time and cover my nose, not enough bedding; pillows or blankets, and plastic mattress pad was horrible. Also it was not clean; left over coffee in coffee machine, finger marks all over fridge, lots of dirt under bed, freaked me out. So I am hoping host are just so new that they didnt know better but after 7 hours of traveling and no hot water- which did go on for 1 minute- enough for my hubby to soap up and then it cut off- I was very disappointed. Hopefully they will address all these issues- watching the deer out back was a treat.
