We have been renting the Loon's Nest property for 5 years. Having vacationed on Little Sebago for the past 30 years, this is the premier property on the lake. Secluded on a quiet part of the lake, you do hear the calls of loons every evening. The large front and back yards are perfect for family games. There is plenty of room for both sun and shade seekers. The swimming area is clear of reeds and the offshore float is great. The backyard fire pit is perfect for marshmallow roasts. We use the spacious back deck with umbrella table and barbeque for most meals. There are innumerable water toys for kids aged 2 to 80. The house itself has every amenity one would want, with even wireless internet recently added. The kitchen has everything one needs too, including all you need for preparing lobsters. The drive into Windham is quick if you need anything. The neighbors are wonderful and the local caretaker will respond quickly to any problems at the house that need attention. We hope to vacation at Loon's Nest for many years to come!
This was our third year at Loon's Nest. We enjoy the spacious home and the private surroundings very much. The extra amenities provided by the owner allows for less packing which is always appreciated. Little Sebago Lake is a beautiful gem and offers swimming, fishing and boating. The spacious front and back-yard are perfect for outdoor games or just quiet repose in a hammock. We look forward to returning to Loon's Nest for our family vacation. We would highly recommend this rental.
