So sorry it has taken us so long to write. This has been an especially busy summer with lots of out of town trips and out of town company. Needless to say we have told everyone about our delightful vacation in New York, one highlight of which was staying in the apartment we rented from you June7-11. The location was ideal. The breakfast items in the refrigerator made us feel so welcome. We enjoyed it so much that we have recommended it to others and hope to repeat the trip one day and stay again.

My wife and I went to NY in mid-October for a five day trip just to relax. We knew we wanted to be in the upper west or east side and near Central Park. This apartment was an incredible find. Viren was very responsive to our inquiries, booking with her was easy and she was very accommodating to make sure we could have access when we arrived late on a Friday night. The apartment was very spacious with a full kitchen including some food and spices. The bed was extremely comfortable and the entire apartment looked over a courtyard so we got no street noise. It was hot for a few days while we were there and the air conditioners worked great. We were one block from Central Park and the Met Museum of Art and close walking distance to the Guggenheim and the subway on Lexington Ave. We have rented VRBO properties across the US and in Paris and this was right at the top. I highly recommend it. The only thing you should be aware of is that it is on the second floor and the one flight of stairs is a little steep. But I am in my 60's and had no problem negotiating it. The location for this apartment couldn't be better. It is two blocks to Central Park and EATS, which is across the street has wonderful coffee and pastries, sandwiches, and desserts. We felt like we were the only ones in the small complex. It is in a quiet location with a large window for fresh air. The kitchen is well stocked and we even found a bottle of beer and wine, which was appreciated after a long train ride getting there. New York is such a fabulous city. We really enjoyed our stay.
Could not be more pleased. Felt like home. Was accommodated with later checkout time due to later afternoon flight. Subway just few blks. Away. Felt very safe. Everything you could possibly want/need close by.
Thank you Vir for hosting us in your perfect UES apartment. We didn't want to leave your extremely well-appointed and cozy abode! Love your sense of style...it felt a being in a flat in Paris. The silence in the apartment is remarkable - you can hear a pin drop, literally. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and flatware, sugar and spices, etc. Communication was seamless and just all around a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Vir's beautiful apartment for a short or long term stay. We will be back!
Location, furnishings, hospitality were simply great! We were in town for family in a play, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was immaculately clean, thoughtfully furnished, and exactly what we needed.
Shopping an restaurants very close, with good variety. The Met a block away, convenient to transportation.
We would recommend with enthusiasm, and hope to stay there again.
Great property if you want to spend your time at the Met...one block away. Clean and quiet inside with greenery out the windows in the back. Updated kitchen. Tiny bedroom but does have a Queen bed. It is a "one story" walkup but that means 32 steps to the apt. Check out "Eats" across the street and "Flex Mussels" on 82nd Street for some great mussels dishes.
YOU ARE A BLOCK AWAY FROM CENTRAL PARk & The Metropolitan.
