Love the location of this property!

  • 5 of 5

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed in this house and we love it! The location is great, literally around the corner from the ski slopes. The house is in good shape, the kitchen well stocked.

Great summer weekend!

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful weekend at Beech Mountian. We were there for a wedding and the house was a great location to coordinate with wedding events. House was clean, had a great sound system, and a great back patio!

Great house!

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in this new, clean, and convenient home! The house was stocked with everything we needed, even coffee filters. There is AC, but we didn't need it. The back deck is spacious and comfortable. The one change I might make would be to add more seating in the family room if possible. We were happy to find a nice little trail (the Upper Pond Creek Trail) a very short distance from the house, as well as Fred's, an old-fashioned general store that hosts free concerts on Sunday evenings. Highly recommend!

Newer, right at Beech Mtn, but needs hospitality improvements

  • 3 of 5

While we enjoyed our stay in a lovely home, there are several things that need improvement. The two queen beds (master bedroom and guest room) are in great need of new mattresses. The master mattress sunk in the middle and was difficult to sleep two people comfortably. In addition, with even the slightest move the master bed squeaked incredibly loud. The pillows were also very thin and ineffective. More towels were necessary in the bathrooms. While the house sleeps 6, the living room only has seating for 4. A love seat or additional chairs would fit easily in the room. Finally, the kitchen needs a few more essentials such as large serving bowls, hot pads, and serving utensils. These tend to be big issues when you are looking to relax and sleep well. We were quite disappointed.

On a positive note, the location to Beech Mountain is fantastic! This would be a great winter house for skiing. The claw foot bathtub was a wonderful escape. The hardwood floors were also lovely. We did see several deer and enjoyed the peaceful back porch!
