Tucked away in the woods, this charming farmhouse feels secluded, while standing an easy drive from everything the region has to offer: skiing at Jiminy Peak, swimming and hiking at Cherry Plain State Park and Greylock Mountain, performances at Tanglewood, the Williamstown Theater Festival, and Jacob’s Pillow, exhibits at Mass MOCA and the Clark, and quaint Berkshire villages to explore. A trail within walking distance connects to the Taconic Crest Trail.

The house features refined post-and-beam construction and a spacious great room, with a fireplace, cozy sofas and armchairs, books, puzzles, games, 4K TV with ATT Choice cable and Apple and Roku TV and DVD, plus Sonos WiFi speakers. The house is well set up for extended work-from-home with hi-speed internet monitor and a laser printer. The kitchen is equipped with anything an enthusiastic cook might need. There is a half-bath and laundry room on the main floor and two full baths upstairs, including a private master bath. A modest set of stairs leads to the second floor. The stunning master bedroom includes a soaring arched picture window and a skylight perfect for stargazing from bed.

Beautiful in every season, the house is set in farm country with classic Berkshire mountain vistas. There is a large yard for children to play in, with a babbling brook, sheltering pines, and a traditional stone boundary wall. A Category 2 electric vehicle charger is on site.

Lovely cottage

So glad we chose this lovely cottage in the foothills of the Berkshires for easy access to VT and MA to enjoy the fall foliage. Beautiful windows in the great room brought the outdoors in. Appreciated host Anthony’s help prior to and during our stay. Hope to return next year.

Weekend Visit

This property was perfect! A secluded, hidden gem! The setting of the house was gorgeous, and such a peaceful place to relax, but it’s also a 30 min or less drive to everywhere we wanted to go…Williamstown, the Clark, Hancock, Pittsfield - all a short drive away. Inside the house is beautiful! The sitting room is perfect for reading a book, the kitchen is well stocked. We really had a wonderful stay and would gladly come back.
