We were delighted with this property. The location was perfect, the house comfortable with all the touches of "home." We've re-booked for next year!

Couldn't have been better.

Excellent Stay

  • 5 of 5

Such a cozy home with character. Tucson is a great place to visit and this home is centrally located so all the attractions aren't too far. The view of the mountains from the bedroom and living room are spectacular and it's in a great neighborhood with a lovely park. I would certainly stay here again. Thanks, Deborah and Jacque!

Best host ever!!!

  • 5 of 5

loved the house, great location and the property Is a lot bigger than it seams in the pictures.

Deborah was a great host. There was an issue with the internet, she wasted no time on getting it fixed.

The house was full stock with everything I needed for cooking.

The location was 15mins from work, 15mins to down town and just right outside her house is a park!

I love the property so much that I just rechecked in.

Thank you Deborah

A wonderful little cottage which is perfect for a several night stay. Within easy driving distance of our needs. Nice little park opposite the property. Well cared for and attentive owner. Highly recommended.

(It was to have all five stars, but it didn't when it went through. I could not figure out how to change it to five stars.)" Thank you! :) Deborah

7 Years Running

  • 5 of 5

This cozy La Madera house has been our Home Away From Home for seven years. La Madera is a great Tucson neighborhood with friendly and helpful neighbors. We always find the facilities clean, stocked with supplies and move-in-ready for our 8 week stay. The property manager responds to any questions we have. The Catalina Mountain view from the front patio is the best in the area and bird watching is rewarding. We recommend this rental.

Not a great place

  • 1 of 5

We arrived and was greeted with a run down, dirty house. The rugs are tattered, light bulbs missing, filthy kitchen, dead insects in the light fixtures, black mold on the grout of the bath tub, and toilet bowl had skid marks. As far as the kitchen and bathroom being recently renovated....I don't think so. I immediately called the owner and expressed my dissatisfaction with the condition of the house and we left to find somewhere else to spend our vacation. The owner did give us a full refund less a processing fee. I would not recommend this rental house.

Owner's Response: I am quite sorry that Stephanie had a poor experience, rather than the comfortable experience that so many others have had before her. Stephanie contacted me via phone on arrival and berated the home. Stephanie was angry and insistent that the home had no air conditioning; the home does have central air conditioning, the thermostat is located just outside the only bath. My assistant went to the home immediately to address Stephanie's concerns, but Stephanie would not talk with her. We conduct regular maintenance and cleaning at the home including deep cleaning several times throughout the year. Prior to Stephanie's arrival, trade representatives had visited the home to develop cost estimates for future work and unfortunately, someone must have used the facilities and the bathroom was not pristine when Stephanie arrived. I apologize for this unfortunate incident. The bathroom has subsequently been checked for mold, there is none; the tile grout - caulk contact will be resealed. Stephanie, thank you for your observations. We will make any necessary improvements to ensure that future guests are comfortable with the home. Please accept my best wishes to you for many happy future travel experiences. Best regards, Deborah
