Amazing property & hosts

The cabin was clean and accommodating for all guests! We had a couple of questions for the hosts leading up and during our stay and they were very quick to respond to any needs we had! We would love to stay here again in the future.

Family ski trip

This was our 3rd stay at Moose Mountain Escape and we’ve already booked it for next year. Love the property, location and amenities. Cassie is amazing to work with as well. Looking forward to our next stay there

Felt Like Home

Didn’t take long for our family of eight to move in and feel right at home! Very comfortable and well stocked. So much to do and enjoy in the area. Great weekend getaway!!

Fantastic place!

We love this condo! We have stayed here twice and it’s been fantastic both times! Hosts are kind (gift bag on arrival)and responsive, place is clean and up to date. Nice pillows! Love the jacuzzi tub. The ski in and out works well (tho not for little kids who can’t pole) but be ready for a hike in (with a slight uphill section). We’ll def be back!

Family Ski Vacation

We loved our stay at Moose Mountain!! The property was exactly as pictured and the 4 of our families had plenty of space. It was fun to have a property large enough for all of us to be together! We made a few meals there, too. The teens especially loved the game room. Cassie was a great host, communicated with me often. Would definitely recommend this property to others and we'd stay here again (hopefully, more snow next time!)

We are your hosts, Eric and Cassie Schmoll. We met in college at UMD in Duluth and began sharing our love for the outdoors. Long before met we had been enjoying the North Shore with our families. In 2020 we purchased our new vacation home, “Moose Mountain Escape.”

With Cassie’s background of more than 15 years in education and Eric’s business and real estate experience, we found the perfect place to enjoy with our family and share with you. Skiing and Snowboarding are great in the winter; fishing, golfing, and boating are fun and hiking is a year-round adventure. Our daughters also enjoy board games, cards, and video games in the cabin after a day of adventure.

Whether you are looking for a place to relax, adventures to experience or a place to get together with your family, this is the perfect home for you.

Why they chose this property

You will get to enjoy the largest home this site has to offer. A unique 5 bdrms, able to sleep 14, room for all to spread out home. Two living rooms, a game room and 3 fireplaces (1 wood burning and 2 gas) make this a unique find. A large kitchen fridge and two mini fridges give you plenty of space to store your food and drinks. We do our own in-home laundry, so you know you will be getting fresh linens and the extra care of this being our favorite vacation home. Enjoy your own personal sauna or relax on on the deck beside the fire table after a long day of adventures.

What makes this property unique

Enjoy your together time in our game room complete with Buck Hunter, Golden Tee, and TV. We have just added a brand new fire table and Weber Genesis II S-435 Propane Grill as an excellent cooking option on the deck. Also included is a new Instant Pot - Duo Crisp 8qt Digital Multi Cooker with Air Fryer for the kitchen. We hope you enjoy!
