**LINENS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE**--------This beautiful, waterfront home is located in a quiet area of the Bolivar Peninsula. Uniquely situated between the only gulf side boat launch and Fort Travis Seaside Park., it has unobstructed views of the Bolivar Roads Anchorage that makes for great viewing of the ship traffic as they enter the Houston Ship Channel and Galveston Island. This house is located between Fort Travis and the North Jetty there is a small beach between the two but you can not drive to the main beach from this location.

This 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms that sleeps 10 people. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would need to make the perfect meals while on vacation. (regular coffee pot). House has high speed internet and a smart TV in the living room. Brand new luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout. Washer/ dryer on the premises.

Outside on the deck, you will fall in love with the views! There is furniture to sit on and enjoy the sunrise while drinking your morning coffee.

There is plenty of room to gather in the shade, under the house, and enjoy the company of family and friends while BBQing on the charcoal grill. This area is great for fishing and/ or relaxing in a quiet area of the peninsula.

Need more room? The house next door, Off the Hook, is also for rent and connected by a walk way on the deck level.

Small dogs (35 pounds and under) are allowed with pet fee. All Swede’s Real Estate vacation rentals are NON-SMOKING properties.

Quiet

Location was great watching the cruise ships & commercial vessels come through. Deck was great. Inside was roomy for 5 adults. Great quiet getaway.

Bachelor Party Weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For the price, this house is great for a small group of people. There was 6 of us and it fit us very comfortably. Kitchen was very spacious, couch was super comfortable, and the wrap around deck was amazing!However, there were just a couple things that kept it from being 5 stars. I think they keep the power off whenever no one is staying, because there was a mildew-ish smell when we first arrived, and the fridge still wasnt cold and there was water all in the bottom of the freezer. They instruct in the cleanup to take all the trash out, but there was no trash bags. They want you to clean up all of the dishes, but there was no soap or dishwasher pods. They provided just two rolls of toilet paper for the weekend when they knew several people were coming to the house. It was kind of strange. The thing that sucked the most is we lost power for 6 hours and the property management company seemed to not care and pretty much was just like oh well.All in all, I would return back. Especially now that I know what all to bring when coming.

Good location on Bolivar Peninsula

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location close to a beach/fishing and layout of home was good; nice deck with shade and covered parking area. House could use some deep cleaning, particularly the carpets which had pet stains in several areas.

We would stay there again

Overall good. House itself is nice and clean. Good water pressure. Listing states you have to request linens. Its $125 for sheets and towels but you still have to put the sheets on the bed.. toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags not provided. Beach is small but clean and nice. A/C wasn't working at full capacity the first day but management responded immediately and it was fixed within a couple of hours. View is great and there is a small park next to the neighborhood with a historic army bunker. Gave us something extra to do when we were done at the beach. Perfect spot for families with small children.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: At first we had a little trouble with the refrigerator. It would not get cold. Devin came out and fixed the problem promptly. We wasn't told the TV in the bedrooms were not working until we got there. But nonetheless we still manage to have a fun time. The house itself is very beautiful. Easy access to the beach was a major plus and the view from the balcony was outstanding.
