About Neil Brown

I am a retired university professor and my wife is a retired

elementary school teacher.

Neil Brown purchased this house in 2006

Why Neil Brown chose Pennsylvania

We wanted an Amish-built log home with an outstanding view.

Built this log home on the edge of a cliff overlooking

the Lehigh River Gorge - the best view of any home in the

Poconos.

What makes this house unique

The log home is ideally located near all of the activities in the Poconos - yet, secluded. You have the best of both worlds - lots of things to do yet away from the mad rush!

Amazing log home in a beautiful, quiet location!

  • 5 of 5

Had a great weekend at the log home. House sleeps 14 comfortably. Quiet neighborhood with scenery overlooking a drop off from the hot tub on the balcony. Amenities were great! Had a bunch of guys from out of town and location was great for golf and night life. Would recommend to anyone looking for a get away. Will use again in the future. Owner very respectful, and any issues/questions very prompt to answer (within 30 mins). Overall very pleased with the experience and glad we chose this log home over the rest!!

We invited our whole family for our 12th wedding anniversary.

  • 4 of 5

It rained the entire time, but is so well equipped that we had plenty to do. All you need to bring is a bar of soap and some food. It has two gas fireplaces, a gas grill, hot tub, pool table, games, and just about everything in the kitchen. Must be 100 towels at the cabin. Antonio's Pizza is the best pizza. We had deer right off the deck in the woods sleeping and eating the entire weekend. We would stay here again in the future.

Awesome Property! Great Stay!

  • 5 of 5

My group of fourteen grad student friends stayed for the weekend and had a GREAT time! House comfortably slept all fourteen of us! All amenities worked beautifully. Kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal for a big group. Beautiful view of the mountains. Easy access to local supermarket, package store, restaurants. We had a great time at Skirmish paintball facility and easy 30 minute drive from the cabin. Had a nice dinner at Powerhouse Eatery. Plenty of wood for a bonfire on Saturday night with xtra wood available close by. Didn't end up needing any. Thanks to Neil for being accessible via phone to answer any questions we had. On Monday a friend of mine got in touch with me to let me know he'd left an important item behind at the cabin. Neil was extremely helpful in getting the item returned! Would love to stay again. Thanks Neil for going above and beyond! Highly recommended!
