Built in 2008, still one of the younger properties in Kona nestled inbetween Waikoloa Village and Mauna Lani. The condo development has everything you need including pool, spa, ocean view outdoor covered workout room, poolside restaurant/bar, tennis courts, basketball courts and hammocks. The unit still has a new smell. You get the freedom of having your own space, with yet the amenities of a hotel as needed.
This sumptuously furnished villa has a full kitchen, BBQ Grill on Lanai, laundry, living and dining areas, and a furnished lanai.
Free wireless internet access, flat screen televisions and DVD players.
For longer stays, A full housekeeping service can be provided for an additional fee.
The Ocean Club Bar and Grill will tempt you with fresh island cuisine and cool tropical drinks.
We are situated on 30 acres of prime real estate on the Kohala Coast of Hawaii’s Big Island.

There is a $10/ day plus tax resort/check in fee.
Cleaning Fee is $185. Additional Cleanings for long term stays are paid by the guest.
No refunds for early departures.
MasterCard, Visa or American Express is required for reservation booking and the damage waiver fee and resort charges.
1/2 deposit required for booking. The remaining balance is due 60 days before check in date. No refunds if cancellation is less than 30 days to check in.
Check in Time is 3PM, Check out is 11AM. If you need a later check out, please ask and we will see if we can accommodate your needs. Sometimes we have back to back reservations and there isn't much flexibility.

We love the Big Island. It has the charm of old Hawaii and we love that it has not been over commercialized as of yet.
It's a newer place and we really enjoyed decorating our unit to reflect you were staying somewhere special. It's nice to visit the pool area and get an Umbrella Hawaii Fruity drink at pool side. How many condo units can boast that? We liked that's it's the newest development in the Kona area and short drive to shopping, sights and beaches.
Hi Nicole, my apologies for not reviewing sooner. We stayed for 8 nights in March 2016 with our two kids (12 and 8) and we absolutely loved it. This was our second time renting this unit and this year was even better than last year. We love the unit, the Hali'i Kai complex, the Waikoloa Resort area and the entire Big Island. As my previous review and many others have mentioned, Nicole keeps her unit in perfect condition and it is set up with everything we could ever need. Our favourite activities were happy hour at the Ocean Club and pool, long and lazy lunches at Lava Lava Beach Club, and simply enjoying the Big Island vibe everywhere we went. This year, we went horseback riding on Kahua Ranch with Na'apala Stables. We were originally disappointed when the Waipio Valley rides were cancelled due to the Zika issue, but we ended up have a great ride out on the Mountain ranch. Definitely recommend trying that out if you are interested.

We fully enjoyed our stay at Hali'i Kai 10B! This was our sixth trip to the Big Island over 15 years or so, and #10B at Hali'i' Kai was a perfect spot for our family's vacation. We knew from previous trips that we like to stay in the South Kohala Coast area on the Big Island for the proximity to our favorite beaches, so Hali'i Kai had a perfect location for visits to the beach, but also for shopping and dining. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Hali'i Kai because it has the best of both worlds-- the privacy and space of renting a condo, but the resort-like pool and poolside restaurant and bar made us feel pampered too. The service at the poolside restaurant was really friendly and accommodating.
10B has a great location within Hali'i Kai as you can walk over to the pool easily, but you're not so close that people are constantly walking past. We loved being on the ground level with our two active kids because they could easily run out and play on the grass in front of the lanai, while we enjoyed our coffee or cocktails and the view of the ocean while sitting on the lanai. Everyone we met at Hali'i Kai, whether renters, owners or staff were super friendly. A favorite memory of this visit was our kids making friends with the kids from the unit next door and playing "Sunset Soccer" in the evenings.
We loved how well stocked 10B is kept! The kitchen had plastic wrap, ziplocs, as well as oil and spices. Laundry detergent was also supplied, which was awesome. One of our favorite features of staying at 10B is that you can use the supplied boogie boards, sand toys, Tommy Bahama Beach chairs, beach towels, a beach umbrella, cooler or an insulated bag which was perfect for packing sandwiches and drinks for a beach picnic. The sheets on the beds and the towels in the bathroom were nice quality, and overall, the feel of the condo was very clean and home-like. There was plenty of space for our family of four to relax and enjoy our vacation.
One of the features of 10B that we appreciated was the covered carport parking space. It was such a relief to have the car stay cooler in the shade-- not all the units offer covered parking!
We will definitely stay in 10B again, and would fully recommend staying at Hali'i Kai 10B to our family and friends.
The condo was quiet, clean, and cozy. The quick access to the private pool, near by resorts, and shopping was perfect. We will return.
We visited the big island as a family of three, and we had more than enough space in this beautiful condo! It is immaculately clean, and well-equipped with everything that we needed: modern appliances including washer/dryer, new pots and pans, and even beach items like boogie boards and toys. The living room connects with a lovely patio where we grilled and had dinner while looking out at the sunset.
The condo community is very safe, and is close to a variety of stores. The ease of staying in this condo made our vacation hassle-free, and we look forward to coming back as soon as we can!
I am in HEAVEN!!! The owners are clearly very conscientious about keeping the unit as beautiful, comfortable and inviting as possible! There are all the comforts that I would need to feel at home which is lacking in most rentals. There is a rice cooker, laundry detergent, ziplock baggies, Tupperware, spices... You name it, and they've got it! I always pack my own spices, ziplock baggies, coffee filters, etc., but it speaks a lot about the owners when they provide those little conveniences. AND the pots and pans are nice and look NEW! (Some owners stock up rentals with their old beat up sets! Lol!) The bed & pillows are comfortable. The unit is quiet and private. No light or sound pollution... It's just totally awesome!
My husband and I spent ten days in this condo, and our daughters, 22 and 25 joined us for five days. The condo is very well equipped, including beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and snorkeling gear. The location is fantastic, with beautiful views of the ocean, and the sunsets. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai, and having barbecues with our own personal barbecue. Situated next to the Hilton Hotel, and on the Pacific coast trail, we had endless long walks along the coastal trail, through the Hilton and Marriott resorts, and further down the coast. The pool, bar area, and gym are on the ocean with magnificent views. It is an easy, and beautiful walk to the village which has all the shops and restaurants you may want. I highly recommend this condo, we had the most wonderful ten days here, and would definitely stay there again.
The pool/hot tub is a 3 minute walk from unit. There is a poolside restaurant/bar for your convenience. If getting in your cardio is important then check out the ocean view outdoor covered workout area! Play a game of Tennis or have some fun playing on the basketball court. Hammocks are on the property--a nice way to get some R & R.
