Hood Canal is one of the most picturesque bodies of salt water anywhere in the world. It’s warm, clear swimming beaches, incredible views of the Olympic Mountains, fantastic beachcombing opportunities, and its location makes it a desirable destination for all. Hood Canal is not really a canal at all but rather an amazing fjord that separates most of Puget Sound from the Olympic Peninsula. It's no wonder that waterfront home owners are mostly second, third, or even fourth generation Hood Canal residents.
Once you've experienced Hood Canal's magic, it's hard to find a better spot - anywhere! Your beautiful private get-away retreat is located on one of the warmest beaches on Hood Canal Fjord. This is one of the Olympic Peninsula's Treasure spots! You will be in awe of the beautiful views. Whether you are taking a family vacation, having a friends weekend, fishing, diving, hiking, or enjoying an intimate romantic get-away, this is the spot for you.
Whether you enjoy the simplicity of nature while watching the sea life surrounding scenic Hood Canal, or prefer an underwater adventure, vacationing on the beach is the life for you. Make your reservations early!
Girl's Weekend couldn't have been better here. Peaceful, clean, amazing views. We had some sun on the deck, wine and hot tubbing. Everything we could have asked for right here. Thank You
This was a wonderful place to stay with our family for the Fourth of July and our twins' birthday. The house was spacious enough to allow privacy for all four couples and it was great to have 2-1/2 bathrooms! The weather was overcast most of the time, but that didn't keep us from swimming in the "warm" cove and hot tubbing afterward. We rented kayaks and crab pots and caught three good-sized male crabs (you do need a license). Had a lot of fun group cooking a fabulous chowder with the crab and the clams we got during low tide. We also made good use of the barbecue. The deck is large with table, chairs and the hot tub, all overlooking beautiful Triton Cove. The kitchen is very well stocked. Bring food to minimize trips to the grocery store several miles to the south. And eat/drink at Hamma Hamma Oyster Saloon, also a few miles south. So much fun!
We had the BEST time! A home away from home, beautiful drive, great weather, well stocked waterfront home with hot tub. Do yourself a favor and stay here, you will be so happy you did. Fun for all ages.
It was a perfect family get away. Beautiful and quiet home. The house is spacious, clean, and well-kept. We really enjoy crabbing and gathering oysters. Kitchen is nice that has all utensil, pots, pan, and supply. Though, fridge and dishwasher could be replaced for new ones. Owner has good communication and well-organized. We are definitely gonna to come back for next summer. Thank you!
We had an amazing week at a beautiful vacation home. Location was spectacular and house had all the comforts of home and some! Enjoyed the hot tub while taking in the views of the Hood Canal. Pies from Halfway House restaurant were well worth the drive, as was the Mt. Olympic ice- cream from the Hama Hama store. A great time was had by all and we will be back again in the future!
My mom, my two sister's and my sister's partner and I enjoyed a two night stay at this beautiful beach side home. We loved the huge deck that felt like it practically touched the beach. The home is very nicely layed out with everything one needs and plenty of bathrooms. We had a wonderful stay and are already planning an encore.
We had a great time - perfect place for a family get together. The kids had a fabulous time playing in the water, catching crabs and looking for seals (once they got over not having wifi!). The adults enjoyed relaxing on the deck and the hot tub.
The Triton Cove Beach Home is near Triton Cove State Park boat ramp. It is also minutes away from several amazing shore dives (Octopus Hole, Triton Cove, etc). Whether you prefer to hike (The Staircase and Dosewallip Trails are a short drive away), fish, clam, go crabbing, shuck oysters or simply relax on the deck while gazing at the stars, our quaint beach house offers all of this and so much more. This spot is 17 miles from Lake Cushman and a nine hole golf course and 29 miles from the Alderbrook Golf Course and spa.
