We loved our stay at your Mauna Lani Point Condo! Even though it is in a complex,it is so private and quiet. The condo is spacious and tastefully furnished with a breathtaking view. We enjoyed walking to the beach along the path and the snorkeling from the Beach Club is amazing! The location is great,so close to the Beach Club and other great beaches. We hope to return again soon!

This is our second visit to this property, and we love the location and the condo -- except for one thing. The two televisions are both totally inadequate. The newer small flat panel in the living room should be moved to the bedroom - get rid of that old, heavy box tv (not high def) and get a bigger, better flat panel for the living room. The one that is there is too small to read the on-screen guide from the sofa and divan, and it won't accommodate a Roku stick (bottom end model), which we had hoped to use to stream movies (at our cost). The tv package that is there is very bare bones; it doesn't even have CNN, PBS, or major outlets. Yes, we don't go to Hawaii to watch tv, but after dark at 6 pm, watching a movie in the evening is something we do want to do, and this condo ought to be equivalent to a good hotel in this department. That said, everything else is terrific. The sunset views are stunning (don't go out for sunset; stay here, then venture out for dinner)! Wifi is good, the kitchen is well equipped, and the greeting basket is much appreciated. We love the nearby beach for Mauna Lani condo guests with it's great restaurant. The closet has lots of beach toys, masks, snorkels, and goodies; thanks. We really needed to use the washer and dryer this time due to an unexpected medical problem causing us to need to pack up and leave quickly. The owners were most accommodating to our needs; thanks! Fortunately, we were able to return a couple of days later, and everything was just as we left it. Thank you!
My husband and I live on Maui and we stay at the Mauna Lani Point every year. This was our first time in this unit and we found it to be very comfortable. The views are spectacular from the outdoor patio. We cooked our breakfasts only and had all the cookware we needed. It's a perfect place to have a getaway. The listing description was accurate and the unit was well maintained. The bathroom could use an upgrade but I'd rather pay less for the unit. There are many restaurants nearby and if you want more selections the drive to Waikaloa Village is less than 10 minutes away. If you enjoy golfing, it is nice to be on the property with 2 great golf courses. The owners were very prompt in replying to my questions. We will defintely be returning. Highly recommended.
This beautifully appointed condo looks out over the 15th hole (one of the prettiest in the world) to a gorgeous ocean view. We enjoyed sitting out on the lanai nightly to watch the beautiful sunsets. We've been here several times before and continue to enjoy this condo's combination of quiet surroundings with wonderful views and a central location to great snorkeling. The condo is well maintained and spotless. We appreciated the gift basket and the closet full of beach equipment. We love having breakfast on the lanai as each new day arrives.
A previous reviewer mentioned the 'old' TVs. The owner has upgraded the living room TV to an HDTV digital monitor. We found the owners very responsive to any needs that arose during our stay.
Love staying in this condo. Can't beat the view. Just finished our 7th visit and are coming back next year.
We have stayed in this beautiful condo several times over the years and always want to return. It has amazing views and well appointed furnishings.
The south Kohala Coast has become our favorite Hawaii destination, and this beautiful condo puts you in the heart of it, with a gorgeous view, and some of the best snorkeling in the state within easy walking distance: Honokaope, the small cove there at the 15th-hole, and Maka'iwa Bay/Beach. That's not to mention Napua Restaurant at Maka'iwa, which in our opinions is one of the best on the island.
The Point complex was built to very high standards, and unit B107's owner makes an obvious effort to maintain that same standard with quality furnishings throughout, and interesting well-chosen decor that's culturally consistent with the fabulous setting. One nice surprise that I don't see mentioned in other reviews was the closet full of beach gear, including chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, and snorkel gear. We absolutely loved our 11-night stay there and would return in a heartbeat.
Besides being clean enough to pass the white-glove test, and the thoughtful basket of goodies provided on arrival, the owner/property manager was also very responsive, quickly attending to a minor maintenance issue we identified. I would agree, though, that a little updating might be in order. The two TVs are probably 20 years old. That said, why watch TV when you're in Hawaii anyway!
