We loved our stay at your Mauna Lani Point Condo! Even though it is in a complex,it is so private and quiet. The condo is spacious and tastefully furnished with a breathtaking view. We enjoyed walking to the beach along the path and the snorkeling from the Beach Club is amazing! The location is great,so close to the Beach Club and other great beaches. We hope to return again soon!

We have stayed in this beautiful condo several times over the years and always want to return. It has amazing views and well appointed furnishings.
The south Kohala Coast has become our favorite Hawaii destination, and this beautiful condo puts you in the heart of it, with a gorgeous view, and some of the best snorkeling in the state within easy walking distance: Honokaope, the small cove there at the 15th-hole, and Maka'iwa Bay/Beach. That's not to mention Napua Restaurant at Maka'iwa, which in our opinions is one of the best on the island.
The Point complex was built to very high standards, and unit B107's owner makes an obvious effort to maintain that same standard with quality furnishings throughout, and interesting well-chosen decor that's culturally consistent with the fabulous setting. One nice surprise that I don't see mentioned in other reviews was the closet full of beach gear, including chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, and snorkel gear. We absolutely loved our 11-night stay there and would return in a heartbeat.
Besides being clean enough to pass the white-glove test, and the thoughtful basket of goodies provided on arrival, the owner/property manager was also very responsive, quickly attending to a minor maintenance issue we identified. I would agree, though, that a little updating might be in order. The two TVs are probably 20 years old. That said, why watch TV when you're in Hawaii anyway!
The condo was well maintained and very clean. The owners provided a welcome basket which was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable. The pool and beach club facilities are top notch and the overall complex is our favorite in the area.
We were excited to go back to this condo, with it's beautiful setting, where we had stayed last year. Unfortunately we had a death in the family and had to fly home the first night of our 8 night stay. That illustrates one of the few downsides of VRBO; unlike a hotel, where some refunds are possible, no such luck here and all of the deposit is gone, which is only fair since the owners likely can't rebook.
That said, we like this location very much. The views from the lanai are spectacular, the condo is clean and comfortable, it is very peaceful, and I love having a good kitchen and laundry facilities. And Canoe House is my favorite nice restaurant on the island. The one downside is the TVs; if you are a sports fan and plan to watch Giants, Warriors, or some lesser team (:-)) you should stay somewhere else or plant yourself at a sports bar, because the TV coverage is not good in the condo.
But I hope we'll be back, you can't beat the beautiful and peaceful location.
Our home away from home provided everything one could ask for plus the greatest ocean view on Mauna Lani Resort. Everything worked as advertised and we found the little shopping center on-site provided for all our shopping and dining needs. Nothing beats the sound of pounding surf at night. That made it worth every penny.

It is rare that a vacation exceeds your expectations, but this is one of those times. Friends of ours recommended this location, saying it was one of the best they had ever stayed at. i would disagree. It was the best location we have ever stayed at. The daily view was spectacular. Either looking at signature golf hole, or watching whales play or the ocean waves breaking against the beach, it was truly paradise.
As for the condo itself, it was very clean and well maintained. There are lots of restaurants and golf courses nearby.
Normally, as vacation winds down I begin thinking of home and looking forward to going back to our house, this was the second time in my life I did not want to return home. If you are looking for perfection, look no further.
