This is the 4th ski season that we have enjoyed Pine Acres #107. As in previous visits, our stay was very enjoyable. All advertised aspects of the unit were as expected. It is very well equipped. Linda and Jack are wonderful hosts. We plan to return in the future.

Very nice . Comfortably furnished.

Spacious and comfy. Very good location to town, fishing and sightseeing. Kids loved the tennis court. Equipped with everything we needed for cooking and grilling. Close enough to town to dine out. Loved the train passing by each day !

Family Vacation

Howdy from Texas! I would like to Thank Mrs. Linda for allowing us to book three days at the Condo and for giving her helpful inside of things to do and places to visit while visiting Durango. It was easy to find, quiet and a great view of the Mountains. The Silverton Train goes behind her Condo and it was cool seeing the train pass by and waving to the people. The train is not loud and does not wake you if you were to take a afternoon nap. We had a wonderful time in Durango. This is a great place to rent, in fact, I am looking forward to renting this condo out in the near future.

Summer in Durango

This is a nicely-equipped and decorated condo. The location is halfway between Durango and the ski resort. It was a great location to return to each night after a full day of activities. The owners were great and responded quickly to any question. Nice and safe location.

Super Vacation Spot

We were actually assigned a condo with three bedrooms and two full baths upstairs and a half bath downstairs. The unit number is 327.

The three story unit is well equipped with a TV and DVD player in the living room and two of the bedrooms. The kitchen is also well equipped and we took all but one meal in the condo. There is also a very good gas grill on the patio off the dining area. There is no air conditioning on the lower floors but we visited during mid-August and the condo was quite comfortable. The evenings were even a bit chilly. We did not take the narrow gauge train to Silverton because we were accompanied by our two dogs and pets are not allowed on the train. We did drive to Silverton and Ouray and both are interesting small western towns. Durango has an excellent tourist information center well equipped with brochures describing things to see and do in the area. The Center also has free WIFI available, though I believe Jack plans to install it in the Condo in the near future. Mesa Verde National Park is nearby. We had been there before so we did not go there this time. We just enjoyed the cooler weather (we live in Arizona) and hanging out. Durango is an interesting "old west" town populated with some excellent restaurants and shopping. A word about the owners of the condo. Linda and Jack are the type people you would enjoy having as neighbors. We certainly plan to return to Durango and will definitely stay at one of their condos. There is a well respected music festival during the month of July, and we may schedule our next trip to take advantage of attending some of those events. I should add that the condo is about 12 miles north of the town but we did not feel that to be a disadvantage. There is ample shopping nearby and an excellent City Market on the north side of the town.
