This Tobin Hill Townhome was built in 2007 and provides modern accommodations in one of San Antonio's charming, revitalized downtown neighborhoods. It is perfect for a romantic getaway, a business trip or a fun filled vacation in the 'Alamo City.'
Located less than 2 miles from the Alamo and our famous Riverwalk, it is near Methodist Metropolitan Hospital and Trinity University. Tobin Hill Townhome offers a great central location to tour our wonderful city. Sightseeing, dining, shopping and strolling along the Riverwalk are all a short trolley ride away.
The recently expanded Riverwalk, now extends north to the Pearl Brewery. You can access the riverwalk less than 1/2 mile from the townhome and walk/bike or take a river taxi to the center of downtown. This new addition passes the San Antonio Museum of Art. Come see Donald Lipski's F.I.S.H., an art installation featuring 25 glowing sunfish suspended from a bridge over the well known waterway!
Rent a bicycle and tour the Riverwalk and city on wheels! Check the internet for more information on the city's newest attraction for tourists 'B Cycles.' A fun suggestion - go to the Pearl Brewery Farmer's Market on Saturday/Sunday morning (9am-1pm) and rent a bike from that location.
Enjoy a choice of many different cuisines in nearby restaurants or if you prefer, cook your own specialty in our fully equipped kitchen.
Let Tobin Hill Townhome be your place to stay in S.A.!

The year 2008 was a big one for us - we retired, sold our home in the hill country near San Antonio and moved into our motorhome! We are currently traveling around the United States.
Roger and Kathy Hewlett purchased this townhome in 2008
We have rented several VRBO properties for family vacations and feel it is not only economical but the best way to stay and have fun together. We bought the townhome so others could enjoy our wonderful city in a great 'home away from home.'
The Tobin Hill neighborhood is close to downtown San Antonio and the famous Riverwalk with easy access to the airport and other attractions around the city. Visit San Antonio year round and see why it is the #1 tourist city in Texas!
This is a wonderful, relaxing home. We have stayed in homes in many places from San Francisco to Albequerque, and from Paris to Amsterdam. This lovely home is a definite favorite we will have to come back to again and again. There is just such a warm, homey feel and the location is excellent for visiting this great city of many moods. Thank you for creating such a great space for travelers.
We loved the peace and quiet of this SA Tobin Hill Townhouse after a busy conference day at the downtown convention center. There were two lovely places to eat less than a mile from the home; The Clean Plate and Five Points Cafe. Delicious!! A restful retreat for our family during our travels to TX.
In studying reviews for the properties for our San Antonio trip, this one stood out immediately! Great ratings and for good reason. When we arrived at the Townhome, it was clean, well decorated, and comfortable. The only thing I didn't count on was that both bedrooms are upstairs. Having a guest in crutches...that was a little hiccup, but everything worked out fine! The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were roomy and the linens were fluffy and clean. We couldn't have asked for a more pleasant stay. Kathy was easy to reach and wonderful to answer all of our questions before and during our stay. This home is located in what looks like a more industrial part of town, but once inside, it's a little haven!! Thank you for a comfortable experience!!
A comfortable environment for a family gathering at Christmas. We enjoyed the Christmas tree since we did not put up ours this year at home. The kitchen provided appliances and tools needed to prepare meals for our family. Supplies such as coffee, sugar, flour, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar were helpful with meal preparation. If you need spices other than salt or pepper, be sure to provide your own. I loved the living room for relaxing and the dining room was great for meals and games. I was surprised at the quietness of the neighborhood, which we really liked. The bedrooms are upstairs, so be prepared for stairs. This provided good separation from the gathering spaces in the dining and living rooms. Instructions were available for all appliances and we could easily control the inside temperature to our preferences. We discovered the town home was very conveniently located for activities in San Antonio. We were only 5 minutes away from my daughter's apartment, which made it very convenient to connect with my daughter and son-in-law for activities. In our week there, we enjoyed the Riverwalk, the boat ride on the river, visits to the missions, the Alamo, and museums. We also did a day trip to Fredericksberg and visited the LBJ Ranch and boyhood home, which was a highlight. Christmas lights in San Antonio were amazing and so was the weather, which ranged between 70 and 80 degrees most of the week we were there. To summarize, this is convenient and comfortable place to stay.
Our trip began with 4 hr. flight delays out of Portland, OR due to freezing rain. We traveled with another couple to San Antonio to attend a wedding and enjoy Dec. sunshine and high 60 to mid 70 degree weather. Other wedding travelers stayed in a hotel for twice the price. We got a whole house with full kitchen and living space. We even had our own private garage w/door opener. Being at half the price of local hotels allowed us to attend the wedding and extend our trip into a mini vacation. Kathy was very available, quick to respond to our plethora of questions, and answered every query with patience. The house was clean and well stocked. Only 7 mi. from the airport, it was also very close to the Riverwalk, Alamo, and short drives to all our other activities. If we ever return to the area, I would choose them again, and highly recommend them to my friends.
My sister and I decided on this townhome because of the excellent reviews and we liked the charm of the place. Kind of felt like I never left home it was so perfect. So we were in San Antonio for my nephews graduation from the Air Force. The location was perfect, seemed to be right in the middle of everything we wanted to see and do. The neighborhood is awesome, lots of old mansions going through renovation.
When we arrived the instructions were simple and easy to follow. Every comfort of home was at our feet. The owners care about the comfort of their visitors which is apparent from the cleanliness and amnenties.
Thank you for allowing my family and I to enjoy your home. I would recommend this charmful townhome to anyone😊😊😊
What a beautiful place to stay and a wonderful change from a hotel! It was perfect location to The Pearl and The Riverwalk. We cane for a family wedding and we felt like we were staying with family.
San Antonio's world famous Riverwalk with dining, shopping and entertainment is a short walk, trolley ride or river taxi away!
The newly developed Pearl Brewery Complex is about 12 blocks from the townhome and features shopping, restaurants, and bike rentals. A Farmers Market is held on week-ends. Be sure and walk through the famous Emma Hotel while you are there!
