White sand beach, clear water and nature - the most beautiful coastline of the Baltic Sea is probably between Lübeck and Wismar.

Already in 19. Century were in Bolton bathing machines on the beach. Those who come here today, sending his soul on holiday and takes a deep breath.

In summer it smells of chamomile. In winter, the breeze tastes of iodized salt water.

The first 'Traveller Run' probably began around 1850th 'Beach Loeper' lodge at that time from farmers and modest pensions. However, if you put a value on a bit of luxury, booked at the 'Grand Duke of Mecklenburg' (Built in 1845 by the Dassower innkeeper Wiechmann). With its gardens, greenhouses, bowling alleys and boulevards were rural Bolton a new flair. Henceforth, by sea air and sandy beach celebrities of all kinds could lure into the Mecklenburg seaside resort.

Even today, Bolton has, of course, sand, beach and sun to offer. The old seaside architecture became lovingly restored in 1992, the newly built 290 meter long pier was inaugurated.

Ideal is the place on the coast for a spa and beach holiday.

The Klützer angle in the hinterland, the quiet countryside between the Hanseatic cities of Lübeck and Wismar with its famous brick Gothic, attracts with forests, glacial forms and massive village churches. There are still some of the nearly 150-year-old Swedish period Wismar to discover. Many destinations such as the Pirate open-air theater in Greve mills, the zoo Wismar, the Stone Age village Kussow, the Ferry Travemünde Sand World and Passat harbor, the Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg, the Hansa Park or the Karl May Festival in Bad Segeberg even the great city of Hamburg with its attractions are easily accessible.
