Powell / Winchester Golden Anniversary

  • 5 of 5

Twenty family members gathered to celebrate 50th anniversary of two sisters/husbands. There were 6 different families represented; all six families had their "lodge" area to themselves. This place is fantastic!

We rented it a year ago; for a year Linda has answered PROMPTLY every question we had; we cannot express how wonderful she is to work with.We did not eat out a time; the kitchen area is fantastic to cook and feed a large group. Every evening we served our meal, outside on the deck. A herd of elk was in the front yard one evening. We saw a flock of turkey walk by the deck, saw mule deer, and YES a bear. The kids loved the trampoline, swing set, and feeding the horses. A wonderful lodge to stay in!

Fantastic home in a beautiful setting

  • 5 of 5

My family thoroughly enjoyed staying in the Moak Lodge. It was even better than it appeared online. The home was perfect for the 20 people we had on our vacation, with plenty of extra space. We loved it and would rent it again if we needed space for a large group.

Great vacation location

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was wonderful! We also rented the cabin across the road which for our group of 26 was a great addition to needed space. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots & pans, baking pans, and even mixers, crock pots, and griddles. You won't need to bring anything! There is even an extra fridge in the walk-in pantry for drinks or whatever you wish. There were also lots of towels, blankets, & pillows for a large group. There was a good variety of games, toys and puzzles for all ages, as well as a selection of Disney movies. I would recommend that if you're coming when there is snow on the ground, you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Some of the hills are a little steep and with snow you will need something to make it there. We had a couple of families with just front wheel drive and we had to push them a few times. The views were wonderful as well as the abundant wildlife running through the property. We would absolutely rent again if we ever find ourselves in Estes Park in the future!

Family Vacation - Perfect

  • 5 of 5

The pictures do not do this property justice. Everything was better than expected. We had plenty of room and with little kids the house was perfect as it was very nice and welcoming but not "Fancy" like they were going to break something. Plus, the out door play-set and trampoline were a huge hit. The giant wraparound deck was perfect for evening dinners and the view of the mountains was awesome. The home is very secluded with no view of the neighbors. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils, pots and pans, etc.

Absolutely the best!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay here was absolutely amazing! Linda and Bob were the kindest and most welcoming people we have met. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect! The house is beautiful! There was plenty of room for everyone and the house had everything we needed to entertain our friends. We will be back there every year from now on for our annual get together with our friends. We absolutely loved this place.
