Why Linda Moak chose Little Valley

Powell / Winchester Golden Anniversary
Twenty family members gathered to celebrate 50th anniversary of two sisters/husbands. There were 6 different families represented; all six families had their "lodge" area to themselves. This place is fantastic!
We rented it a year ago; for a year Linda has answered PROMPTLY every question we had; we cannot express how wonderful she is to work with.We did not eat out a time; the kitchen area is fantastic to cook and feed a large group. Every evening we served our meal, outside on the deck. A herd of elk was in the front yard one evening. We saw a flock of turkey walk by the deck, saw mule deer, and YES a bear. The kids loved the trampoline, swing set, and feeding the horses. A wonderful lodge to stay in!
Come again! Your family was delightful!
We loved the house!
The Moak Lodge is a great place to host your next group get-together. They have everything you would need in the kitchen, and the fabulous dinner table seats at least 10. The beds were comfortable, the house was very clean and the owner was very responsive with our questions before we checked in. We would definitely book there again! Thank you Moak Lodge!
Please come back any time as we loved having your writer’s group!
Perfect home for a large group!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home! Close enough to Estes Park that our family from out of state could enjoy the town but removed enough to allow for some rest and relaxation.
Fantastic home in a beautiful setting
My family thoroughly enjoyed staying in the Moak Lodge. It was even better than it appeared online. The home was perfect for the 20 people we had on our vacation, with plenty of extra space. We loved it and would rent it again if we needed space for a large group.
Tickled you and yours had a good trip, Ken. Thank you for visiting our neck of the woods! I will miss the sound of your kid's having fun! They were adorable.
Thanks Linda for the wonderful stay. Everything went well for us and we surely will be visiting again.
Great vacation location
Our stay was wonderful! We also rented the cabin across the road which for our group of 26 was a great addition to needed space. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots & pans, baking pans, and even mixers, crock pots, and griddles. You won't need to bring anything! There is even an extra fridge in the walk-in pantry for drinks or whatever you wish. There were also lots of towels, blankets, & pillows for a large group. There was a good variety of games, toys and puzzles for all ages, as well as a selection of Disney movies. I would recommend that if you're coming when there is snow on the ground, you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Some of the hills are a little steep and with snow you will need something to make it there. We had a couple of families with just front wheel drive and we had to push them a few times. The views were wonderful as well as the abundant wildlife running through the property. We would absolutely rent again if we ever find ourselves in Estes Park in the future!
Moak Lodge practically backs up to the Roosevelt National Forest.
