Summer House 511 is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath, 1654 square foot, vacation condo – A TOP FLOOR END UNIT RIGHT ON THE BEACH - updated in 2018 - with spectacular views from all rooms. YES, THIS UNIT IS OCEANFRONT! We have many repeat guests – many have been with us for over 5 years and one couple holds the record of staying with us 10 years in a row!

Summer House is within the gated, private community of Wild Dunes on the Isle of Palms,SC.

Updated in 2018 with 3 completely new and gorgeous custom tiled bathrooms, new living room furniture, new soft paint colors, craftsman trim and more to give you a beach cottage feel in an oceanfront condo setting. Living room, master bedroom and another bedroom all have oceanfront balcony access and unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean. The large, well-equipped eat-in kitchen offers excellent views of the golf course, as does the third bedroom. We sleep 8 - 1 King bed in the master suite, 2 queen beds in the second bedroom and 2 twins beds in the third bedroom.

The beach and recently refurbished oceanfront salt water pool are right outside the condo. Outdoor shower and restrooms are located in the pool area. We have a convenient locked storage bin under the complex for all of your beach equipment and bicycles.

OWNERS LIVE WITHIN 7 MILES OF THE CONDO AND TAKE EXCELLENT CARE OF IT!

The condo is beautifully decorated in a beach theme with soft colors, beach art, comfortable couches, chairs, and leather recliner. The living room furniture was purchased in 2018. The balcony is fully furnished with comfortable chairs and tables.

For your indoor entertainment we provide HIGH SPEED WIRELESS INTERNET and Xfinity TV with lots of channels including sports and HBO. Our entertainment system includes four flat screen TVs, each with its own Blu-ray Disc player. Bring the DVDs for the kids! The living room has a 51 inch TV, master bedroom has 43 inch TV, one bedroom has a 32 inch TV and one bedroom has a TV 26 inch TV. WE OFFER NETFLIX STREAMING MOVIES ON ALL TVs AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. Our music system includes a HIGH END stereo sound bar with Bluetooth connectivity and auxiliary input cable for your mobile devices. Plenty of entertainment for after beach hours!

Enjoy breathtaking ocean and golf course views, pelicans, dolphins, sand dollars, starfish and more! Walk for miles on the uncrowded beaches. Try your hand at surf fishing right outside your door. Private resort-style saltwater swimming pool with spacious sundeck for Summer House guests only! Want more excitement? Lots of water sports rentals are nearby.

The condo is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival. Bed, bath and kitchen linens are provided. Bring your own beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. Or - beach chair and umbrella rental is available from local providers. NO SMOKING. NO PETS.

*We require a 50% deposit at the time of your reservation and 50% within 30 days of your arrival. We also require a $300 refundable security deposit which is payable with your final payment.

* We do not provide beach chairs but do provide a poolside locked, storage bin for all of your beach items.

* No Smoking. No Pets. Note - Wild Dunes Resort does not allow rental guests to bring pets onto resort property. We cannot override that ruling.

Fun family place!

Spent 3 days here and enjoyed every bit!! Plenty of room for 4 adults and for 4 kids. Views are incredible!! Being there end of season was perfect, not too crowded. Having ocean so close by was a plus with little ones. Really appreciated all the water toys in the storage unit.

Owners give lots of great suggestions of things to do in the area!

Great Condo/ Excellent Location/ Perfect for our Family

Listing description was accurate - there was even more things there than listed. Place was clean and everything was in perfect working condition. Diane answered my questions via email super fast and gave great suggestions for restaurants and rainy day activities!

The location was superb! Top floor (no noisy feet above you), corner (more views of the ocean) was key for us. The locked storage room downstairs was an awesome bonus for us as we have 3 kids and it was nice to drop off all our stuff (sand toys, life jackets, pool toys, chairs, umbrellas...) there at the end of the day and not have to drag anything up to the condo. Having a keypad to get into the condo was great too...no keys to misplace, and even our 5 year old could remember the code and unlock the door. Our 11 year old and his grandmother volunteered to set up our chairs out at the beach every morning. They were usually out there around 7 am and always got a good spot.

The kids took advantage of the family games, puzzles and stereo that were there.

Kitchen was well stocked - however we were glad we packed a few plastic cups for our kids (the condo only has glasses and the main dining table is glass as well) and a large griddle to make plenty of pancakes at once. There were plenty of pans, mixing bows, pitchers...you name it! Large pantry for all our food.

We had a blast at the beach. We saw 2 dolphins and a small (3 foot) shark almost daily. TONS of sand dollars. We even swam out to the sand bar 3 days and found starfish, a few jelly fish, a small stingray, and a horseshoe crab. The kids (and grown ups) loved it!! The kids each came home with a gallon size ziplock of shells - some to put in their rooms and some to add to the collection in their sandbox. :)

We spent 1 day inland. Had a fun time seeing alligators at Cypress Gardens, then we really enjoyed the ships at Patriots Point. Grabbed pizzas at Papa Johns on our way back to the condo. One night, we went out for some great seafood at Sullivan's.

Weekly rate was affordable..$2375 ($2756 with cleaning fees and taxes). Hoping the rates don't go up too much for next year...we just may return! :)

Very Nice...Great Location+++

Just returned from a wonderful week on the IOP.Dealing with Diane/Len was the best. Very helpful and easy to work with. The condo worked for us very well.Had everything we needed and more. View was great and very relaxing sitting on the balcony just to listen to the ocean. Went to Charelston 2 days and enjoyed the sites there. So much to do so little time. Used the book in the condo for places to eat and things to do. Very helpful as we are new to the IOP. Went jet skiing on the island, what a trip. Between the stingrays, fish and dolphins it was a great time. We will plan on coming back again. Thanks so much for everything you did to make our vacation trip GREAT !!!!!!!!!!!

Great condo with everything you could ask for. Wonderful views having an end unit with extra windows. Great owners who always responded immediately to an e-mail. You can enjoy the beach and easy access to Charleston. IOP is a great location to do both!! It is a beautiful island.

Great Condo with Beautiful View

We stayed here for a "Girlfriend/Sister" vacation. Everything was just as described by owners, if not better. Diane & Len (Owners) were very helpful and informative about the condo and the area. The views from the balcony were beautiful. The entire community of Wild Dunes was so nice, peaceful, and safe. We enjoyed leisurely walks on the beach, as well as a nice bike ride throughout Wild Dunes.

We highly recommend this condo to anyone visiting the area, and would like to stay here again sometime.

Nice Vacation

Our family spent Labor Day week end at Summer House. We had a great time. We found the condo clean with a generous supply of towels, etc. The owner was very helpful with answering questions and

making an effort to make our stay more pleasant. Hope that we get an opportunity to stay here again.

About Diane Fiume

We started out in New Jersey but have been edging our way South over the years. While we spent 23 years in Charlotte, NC, we frequently vacationed at Wild Dunes with our two children and bought our second home here in 1999. We love the beach, Charleston and all it has to offer so much that we decided to retire in the area and moved to Mt. Pleasant in 2007. We love being close to our condo and use it whenever it is not occupied. We hope that after your visit, our home is as special to you as it is to us!

Why Diane Fiume chose Isle of Palms

We love the beach, the lush natural landscaping and watching the dolphins right from our balcony. When family and friends visit they enjoy the beautiful beaches, two Fazio Golf Courses, all of the bike paths and the fishing. I also feel that it is a very safe community and since it is a gated community it is never overrun with crowds. With Charleston only 20 minutes away, it offers vacation opportunities all year long. I also knew we would never get tired of the rich history of Charleston and its first class restaurants.

What makes this condo unique

Our condo is a top (5th) floor, oceanfront, corner unit. The views are spectacular from every window! The location of this building and the fact that we are a corner unit on the top floor give us very unique views. We have the ocean views and breezes from two bedrooms, the living room and dining room. The kitchen and back bedroom overlook the golf course and beyond that the intra coastal waterway. When the windows are all open, the breeze and salty ocean air are incredible. We enjoy sunrise over the Atlantic and the sunsets over the intra coastal! In addition, we have a lower level storage bin for all of the beach equipment, a beautiful oceanfront pool with bathrooms and an outdoor shower. It is truly a magical paradise!

My children 2 and 6 are already planning another trip. It is such a lovely and beautiful condo!! We truly enjoyed our vacation and will definitely come back here again when we make a return trip to Charleston.
