We are located in the heart of the historic Fairmount Neighborhood which boasts many bakeries, restaurants, organic markets and the famed Prince Puckler's Ice Cream Parlor. Although the Little Pink House is only one year old it was built on the foundation of the very first stage coach station in Eugene. The Pink House is tucked away, and located in a wonderful wooded neighborhood, however it is only steps away from Fairmount Blvd. The house is located on a private alley with it's own parking. We have recently added a lovely path from the pink house which will take you straight to Fairmount Blvd.

We have now added a brand new sleeper sofa to the house allowing accommodations for six. Additionally, we added a 42 inch flat screen high def. television.

The Pink House is furnished with the best hotel beds linens and towels. The kitchen is fully furnished with pots, pans, dishes, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, coffee and tea. The house has a new gas barbecue, surround sound, cable television, sky lights, wireless internet and comfortable furniture. We have literature in the house regarding Eugene and it's many attractions, as well as the Willamette Valley. We are close to fishing, hiking, boating, biking, wine tasting...you name it! We have coolers, fishing equipment and even a GPS on request. We know you will enjoy our 'hide away'! Email inquiries only please.

About Lara Rear

We have stayed in VRBO properties, in Greece, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Panama, the United States, Germany and Mexico and had absolutely wonderful experiences in every property. We want to provide that for our guests as well. We have recently used The Little Pink House as a long time rental for visitors to the University of Oregon as we are only blocks from campus.

Lara Rear purchased this house in 2008

Why Lara Rear chose Eugene

The Little Pink House was brand new in 2008. Given it's location to the University of Oregon, we decided to list the home on VRBO. Having traveled the world and staying in VRBO properties ourself, we thought it would be a wonderful way to preserve the house, and meet wonderful people. When we listed the Little Pink House it was one of five VRBO properties in Eugene! We are now nearly word of mouth having visitors return time and time again. We love the fact that so many have loved staying at our Little Pink House.

What makes this house unique

The Little Pink house is blocks away from the Matthew Knight arena, Hayward Field and even Autzen Stadium. It is set off of the street, yet only steps from Historic Fairmount Blvd. Around the corner Hendrick's park with acres of old growth forest, running and hiking trails. Pre's rock is found only blocks from the house. Fairmount Park down the street is perfect for the kiddos and boasts a water feature for summer fun. Our famous bike trails are only blocks from the house as well as the Willamette River. Spencer's Butte and Mt. Pisgah are also only a short drive away.

beautiful little home

My son and I enjoyed a short stay here while we looked at U of O. What a beautiful home: clean, comfortable, and close to campus. We will undoubtedly return. Many thanks.

Perfectly located, serene, incredibly comfortable.

  • 5 of 5

I stayed in the Little Pink House with my sister and our two teenagers while in town for an accepted-students tour at UO. It was a very busy weekend, and the LPH gave us all the perfect place to relax and be together. It's close to everything, very well appointed and spotless, beds very comfy, and appreciated the easy lock-box checkin. As other guests have said, this is a perfect home-away-from-home. And now that we've decided on a "yes" of UO - we hope to come back many many times! #GODUCKS

Absolutely a Sweet Gem in a very unique town

  • 5 of 5

This is a wonderful property nestled in a charming neighborhood. Very central to everything and walking distance to a fantastic breakfast place "Studio One Cafe". The owners of the property were extremely communicative and the Little Pink House was exactly what our little family needed. We were 3 adults and 1 teenager and the house was the perfect size. All the amenities were there and for the price you definitely should not pass this by. If ever in Eugene, Oregon again we will definitely request to stay here. Thank you Lara and Clark :)

LOVE the Little Pink House...our new place to stay in Eugene!

  • 5 of 5

We've been visiting our kids who are students at UO over the past 6 years. So happy to now have the Little Pink House to stay at! Super convenient location - about a 10 minute walk to Matt Knight arena for the concert we attended last night. No need to pay for event parking! Also, it's in a beautiful, quiet little neighborhood, which was a pleasant change from some of the noisy hotels in the area.

The house was spotless and everything felt really fresh and new. Beds were comfortable and each room in the house has it's own thermostat, which was nice. There were also two cozy robes we could use.

Kitchen was fully stocked. They even had Kcups for the Keurig! (plus a regular coffee pot.)

Bathroom was super clean with a nice shower, plenty of thick cozy towels and lots of little bath products for our use.

The owners have provided just about everything you could want in a top-notch rental. Lara was super easy to communicate with before, during and after the rental. Will definitely be staying here again!

The Little Pink House has never been more than $100 per night. We don't believe in doubling or tripling our rates for "special events" such as Duck Football games. We provide a beautiful home steps from the University of Oregon at the same rate we started with in 2008. We host many parents of U of O students and pride ourselves on giving our guests an affordable experience in Eugene.
