We had a wonderful time here this week, and your home is impeccably maintained---what a pleasure!!!!
The proximity to Forest Beach is a definite plus, and we fully took advantage of the tennis court. Your location
is really one of the best we've had on Cape Cod. Thank you.

Everything was terrific during our stay this week. With the bikes, tennis courts and naearby beach, and basketball,
we had a great time! It's a beautiful house, great location & we enjoyed everything very much----except for our
early departure thanks to Hurricane Irene!

After 3 years in a row, we are thinking of this as 'our' cottage. The
Peaceful atmosphere of both the house and Forest Beach make this a perfect place to unwind from our very 'hectic' lives back
home. Thank you always for sharing your home.

We had yet another wonderful week on the Cape, no small thanks
to this house and its perfect locate near the beach. The July 4th
parade in Chatham was great fun. For new visitors, we highly
recommend a stop at Sundae School on Route 28 in Harwich--best
ice cream around!!!

What a lovely house you have, perfect for trips to Provencetown as
well as Hyannis. The house itself is so complete and all you can
think of is there. All the way from Holland and for the first time on
the Eastern past of the U. S. We are happy we have chosen your

This is a wonderful house, just perfect for our family holiday. It was our first trip to Cape Cod, and we've really loved spending time here----just too short. We spent 5 days in New York first, so we
really appreciated the seclusion here and the peaceful location.
Highlights fro our visit:
Surfing at Nauset Beach
Marion's Pie Shop!!! Best in the World!
Land Ho Restaurant in Orleans
Eating our evening meal on Forest Beach
all the way from the U.K. a big thanks for this special house!

Originally from the Great Lakes area of Lake Michigan, I am happily retired on Cape Cod. As a child, I spent summers on the Lake,
as an adult, I love enjoying the Ocean. Our family lives on Cape Cod about 45 minutes from our Chatham Home. Our family often stays in Chatham and enjoys the wonderful First Night Celebration.
My husband is an electrical engineer; I am in business. We have 3
adult children. We love to travel, and we are thrilled to be living on
We vacationed in Chatham for many years, and decided to purchase a second home based upon our wonderful experiences here. We take great pride in keeping our place up to date and enjoyable for our guests. We want everyone to enjoy our home
in Chatham as much as we do.
Most guests find our setting very serene and peaceful, and more
private than many of the rental settings in Chatham----our place is
quiet and relaxing. We chose our home for its wonderful location
and especially like that we have a large fireplaced family room, and a very separate living room which allows us to 'get away' from
each other a bit when all the family is present.
Lovely, the location is perfect. House itself is so complete, plenty of space and all
you can think of is there. We enjoyed the barbecue and also played a number of
tennis games, and the beach so close by!
We've been VRBO renters for 14 years. This home was the cleanest and best equipped place we've ever rented. The tennis court and climbing wall next door kept my kids occupied whenever we were at home. The central location allowed us to explore the Cape (from Whale Watching to long sunset walks...). Forest Beach a short walk away was a great end-of-the-day relaxation spot. Beds were spotless and comfy, great books, quality kitchen equipment, good beach chairs & toys...wish we'd found this spot when our kids were toddlers (high chair, sippy cups, etc.). Diane was great to work with, even checking in via email on Day 2 to make sure we didn't need anything. The restaurant recommendations were great (clam strips and milkshakes/frappes at Kream & Kone were worth the long drive from Maryland). As a bonus, while playing tennis with our kids, we heard a rustling in the bushes behind the court. We paused our game as a HUGE wild turkey and its 4 chicks strolled through the area about 20 feet from where we were standing. So cool!! It's our habit to go to a different location every year, but if we ever come back to Chatham - this is the house we're renting.
We stayed for a week in late September, great time to visit, (couldn't get the website arrival calendar to adjust off of October, lol). Down a quiet lane, but close to the quaint town of Chatham, and shopping areas. Updated home was lovely with a well stocked kitchen, and private yard with a patio. Very clean throughout, and beds were comfy! Bedrooms are quiet, being away from the family room area. Washer and dryer in the basement. Tennis courts close by and a nice beach is a short, pleasant walk away. Owners were very responsive, helpful, and friendly to work with. I would definitely stay again and recommend to my family or friends! Thanks for a great stay!
Our family just left and we can't wait to get back. Three things stand out. First this is a great location. It is quiet, close to Forest Beach and a short easy drive to the main grocery store, local ice cream shop, etc. Second the house is really clean, all on one level and even has beach toys, bikes, etc., in the basement for guests to use. Third, the owner is really nice and super responsive. We rent lots of vacation houses in lots of places and this is a Top Pick.
Just as listing described, this little house has almost everything
what we need: great location which only takes a few minutes walking to
Forest beach, and 10 minutes driving to beautiful main street of
Chatham, etc. The tennis court is so close just like in house's
backyard. The house is well maintained- nice and clean. And the host
is very considerate to provide almost everything for our convenience:
beach chair and umbrella, bikes for adults, tennis rackets, and even
flashlight. Everyone enjoy a lot including grandparents and our 7 and
3 years old. Definitely we will be back next year!
Immaculate house with plenty of room (3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bath) and everything you need for a great stay on the Cape. Close to Rt. 28 but not too close. Short drive to the beach or you could walk or bike if you aren't loaded down with too many beach items.
The owners have thought of everything and have all the amenities you could want including chairs, bikes, coolers, fans, washer/dryer, outdoor shower, and all the kitchen items you could need. The family room (with a beautiful fireplace for colder weather) with sliders to the patio is a wonderful place to hang out. In addition, a small front living room can be a quiet respite for reading a book or listening to music. Beds were comfortable and 1/2 bath off the master bedroom was a great convenience.
Ample parking for a few cars and on a dead end, so nice and private and quiet. Adjacent to the town tennis courts so if you play, you literally can pop over.
Lots of restaurants nearby in both Chatham and Harwich (including the obligatory ice cream shops) and a short drive into Chatham. Plenty of info in the thick binder you'll find in the house - everything you need to know (the beach schedule and which ones have free parking was especially helpful).
We took a whale watch from P'Town (Dolphin Fleet) and it was amazing - we were lucky to see tons of whales and they were very active.
My wife and I highly recommend this property and hope to return!
Lovely clean home with all that you could need. The bathrooms are updated and there is no musty smell, immaculate rental! The owners really make sure you have your questions and needs met. We love the area beaches and with two little ones under five, proximity is everything!
Thank you for a great vacation rental experience,
Cindy & Steve
