Hot Springs National Park House Rental Photos and Description

House, 2 bedroom, 2 bath. Sleeps 5

We are booking up for the summer! Book it now!!

Our wonderful lakefront home is situated at the end of a point, so it has a beautiful view from every window from sunrise to sunset. Come relax and enjoy the beauty of our lake Hamilton home. You'll enjoy sitting back and watching the ducks, turtles and other wildlife that come around our lake home! We often see an eagle soaring over the point. We also have a woodburning fireplace and wood to burn on a chilly night, after your day of fishing or sight seeing.

Our two bedroom, two bath home would be enjoyed for a couples get away or a family looking for some lake house fun. It's also a great house for a small group of friends getting away for a fun filled vacation!

Our lake home is right on the water, on a flat lot, so no stairs to climb to get to the lake. We have a large deck overlooking the water where you can enjoy outdoor grilling, dining or relax watching the sun rise and set over the lake. The swim dock is just feet away from the deck where you can sit and enjoy watching the kids swim and play or bring your fishing gear to go fishing off the dock!

You can come enjoy our freshly redecorated home with bamboo hardwood floors, carpet in the bedrooms and new light and airy paint colors throughout. We have made it as comfortable and relaxing as possible, with everything you need to make you feel like your at your own vacation home. So come and enjoy all the fun Hot Springs and our Lake Home have to offer.

The lake water is lowered in the winter. It will return to normal levels early March.

About Lisa

We grew up in Little Rock and have been enjoying our Lake Hamilton home for many years now. We visit the lake house once a month to make sure it is in perfect shape for our guest. It is our favorite vacation place!

Lisa purchased this house in 1980

Why Lisa chose Hot Springs

We love Hot Springs and we love coming home to visit our lake house. We try to make sure that our guest feel like they are coming home to their own lake house when they visit.

What makes this house unique

Our lake house is right on the water, just steps out the door. We love sitting on the deck or even in the living room and being right on the water with the ducks and geese.

Lake Hamilton Waterfront dream!

  • 5 of 5

Amazing place! I have rented from VBRO on many occasions. This property is one of the better ones I have stayed in. Imagine walking into a vacation rental and feeling completely at home. Very clean, spacious and welcoming. The furniture is updated and very comfortable, all that you need is provided for you down to extra paper products and laundry detergent. But, even more than the wonderful offerings inside the house is the outside area. You will find yourself on a point of land, totally private, surrounded by water(water views from every room in the house!) A wonderful deck, plenty of seating, and the lake right outside your door. Oh, if it had only been summer when we were here and I could go jump off the dock into the water. If you are looking for a place near Hot Springs and the crystal mines, book here. You will not be disappointed. We have enjoyed our week here very much.

Relaxing Family Vacation

  • 4 of 5

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids - 15, 10, 6) just returned from a week long stay at this home on Lake Hamilton. The home is located at the end of a peninsula right off of Hwy 270. There are several other homes on the point, but you really can't see any of the other homes/yards from the back of the house, which is where we spent much of our time. The backyard is beautiful, with a large wooden deck, gas grill, fire pit, patio furniture, lush green grass, nice sized dock. You are only steps from the lake and you can swim/fish right off the dock. Some comments from my kids while we were there, "Mommy, thank you so much for finding a house where the entire backyard is just the lake!" and "I never want to leave this place!" The inside of the house is decorated like a beach cottage. There were plenty of towels and washcloths and we made use of the washer and dryer while we were there. The owners had also provided laundry detergent as well as basic toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, soap and paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels). I cooked every meal while we were there and the kitchen was well supplied with utensils/pots/pans/bowls/serving dishes/glasses. Only thing it was missing was a muffin pan. We had an issue with one of the older appliances, but it will likely be fixed before the next visitors. The living area was very comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone and throws in case anyone got chilly. Our kids enjoyed the supply of board games and puzzles and we also made use of the selection of DVDs that were available after it got too dark to swim. The bed in the master bedroom was a little uncomfortable - too soft and sagged in the middle - and the linens could do with an upgrade. I am not sure about the beds in the other room, but the kids seemed to sleep okay. The TV in the kid's room didn't work/wouldn't connect to the cable service, but that was okay with us as we were not there to watch TV anyway. The air conditioning in the house worked great and kept us nice and cool. One additional thing to note - the part of the lake that the house is on is evidently a hot spot for partying boaters known as the sand bar. There were always at least a couple of boats anchored there in the afternoon and some would blare music inappropriate for kids, curse loudly and throw beer bottles/cans into the water. These people weren't always there, but just something to be aware of in case you have small children and/or peace and quiet is important to you.

Owner's Response: Kaysie, So glad your kids enjoyed the lake house and didn't want to leave. That is what I like to hear! The tv in the children's room is a brand new TV, and the cable was working on it, now that it is not, we are getting the cable company to come out to fix it. You didn't note though that we had two other working tv's. for your family to enjoy. We have 3 tv's in the home. There are always a lot of boats on Lake Hamilton in June, July and August. So those are not the quite months of the year to visit the lake if you are wanting a quite visit. But the summer is a busy time on the lake and a lot of guest enjoy watching the boats play out on the water. (Sounds like you had a bad experience with some boaters, littering in the lake is illegal and it rarely happens) As you can read from my reviews, the rest of the year, the lake house is quite and peaceful, if that is what you are wanting. Beautiful little home on Lake Hamilton

  • 5 of 5

Book this house! Perfect stay. The view from the back deck is perfect and the lake access is unbeatable. The home itself is extremely clean and well-stocked with whatever you might need for your time there. It's close enough to town not to be a bother to drive in. We cooked all meals at home with no issues whatsoever. Thank you Lisa!

P.S. Your artwork is beautiful!
