The traditions sailing ship 'De Vrouw Dina' was produced by a Friesian in 1897th There has always been under sail transported freight to these types of vessels were equipped in 1930 with engines. She once sailed to Riga money yet from England with cargo but was scrapped. It was almost torn down but my father has your saved and used in the 70s of the last century as a holiday ship. From 2009 De Vrouw Dina got a complete renovation and survived the Passagierschifftüf.
The decor of the salon with light oak and beautiful colors create a pleasant atmosphere below deck. The living room has two Couche and two benches with tables. The galley is equipped with modern appliances. The two refrigerators, dishwashers, the oven, the grill plate and the 4-burner stove that provide before and cooking together on board fun. The decor of the salon is flexible and can be transformed: a beautifully set dining table to a meeting or party room. There is a music system, a small library and board games. If you go through the corridor, you reach the 6 cabins. Each cabin has a bunk bed, a toilet, shower, heating and a window. At the end of the corridor there is an emergency exit. Besides these the whole ship is equipped with the necessary safety equipment, such as obligation for passenger ships. Something different than an apartment or a hotel but just as cozy and comfortable.
The holiday ship 'De Vrouw Dina' located in Zijlsingel opposite nr. 20 in Leiden. The university town has a very nice, cozy and historic center. From the ship you have a view of the old town storms suffering. It is no more than 5 minutes walk to the Old Town where the shopping streets, restaurants, museums and bars. Leiden is 7 km from the North Sea beach and in the hinterland there are the polder with the typical windmills.
