The Flat is a large suite 600-700 sq. ft. with an open floor plan. A full size kitchen with modern appliances and cooking utensils. The Bathroom has imported ceramic tile, original claw foot tub and shower and has been fully restored.
On site owners can help with tickets, directions, great nightlife tips. Great B&B vibe with out the corny part.

This place was clean, comfortable, stylish, and roomy for our family of 4 ( two sons ages 12 and 23). The location is unbeatable, within walking distance to all major attractions. It is a 30 min walk to Balboa Park and even shorter walk to the Gaslamp district (~10 min). We are from NY, we walk everywhere. There is a big bonus- peaceful backyard, where we would dine al fresco when too tired to go out. Also, the security was superior. To top it off we had freshly cut roses in our room and a large library to browse. Thank you, Linda!
If you are looking for a place with a fantastic location and owners who go the extra mile, this is the place. I came to San Diego to find permanent housing and this location allowed me to walk to my realtor and walk to all downtown apartments she showed me. It really gave me the feel of the city while being very clean and well-maintained. Having the owners on the property helps when you need advice and direction. I learned important info about San Diego and felt very comfortable and safe. Thank you Mike and Linda for everything.
Location is fantastic even if you don't have a car. Close to everything, we walked everywhere and it was just short cab ride to Balboa park. Trolley Bus Tour took us to all the sights. Gas Lamp Quarter right around the corner. Mike and Linda were fantastic hosts. Slept great & the bed was really comfortable and the linens luxurious. Quiet room even in the heart of the city. We loved having meals on the deck and looking down into the garden that was done beautifully
This vacation rental is perfectly located to walk or drive virtually anywhere in San Diego. The bed is a dream and the outside patio is lovely to sit on overlooking the charming courtyard. Very clean and the hosts are helpful and friendly. A small issue was dealt with honestly and openly.
