[from flipkey #288660] We loved the house and would love to rent it again. We especially like that we were able to have our boat right in the canal in back of the house. The house is very comfortable, roomy and light. I found the bedroom a little too bright in the morning that would have been better with some light blocking curtains, but that is really the only thing I would change. We had a great time, and also loved that we could dock our iphones to hear our Pandora radio station.

This home is very comfortable and has all the necessary amenities. The property is very clean and well-maintained. The location and description given of everything was very accurate. The owner's attention and customer service was excellent from the moment we made the reservation and after our departure. I would recommend this property to anyone and would certainly return in the future!
We were 5 adults and 2 kids. The place is very well set up for little kids. Space is great. We were unlucky and got but by things called no-see-ums. Make sure to get repellent especially for those little bugs. They really itch if they bite you.
My family and I had a great time at this home. We were very comfortable, as we were traveling with my two children and the grandparents. The lower floor was perfect for my in-laws as the main bedroom was large enough with a queen bed and had the connecting bathroom. The kids had a blast in their own room with the bunk beds on that floor too. My husband and I really enjoyed the large, spacious master bedroom on the upper floor. It had plenty of closet space and a nice, large bathroom with the double sink/vanity.
The owner, Richard, was very accommodating and even took time to call his family to put in the swim ladder on the newly remodeled deck the day we arrived. His dad & nephew came over in a flash and took care of it immediately, The neighbors were also very nice and friendly (in true Keys fashion).
Overall, the property was clean and well equipped. We went out to eat only once during our stay! The barbecue/grill was really nice and we grilled out a few times too. It was nice to have a washer/dryer in the house too.
I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who is looking to rent out in the Keys. A plus is that the home is right there when you get into Key Largo, so you arrive quickly (if you live in Miami). We felt like we were home while we were there...we wished we could stay longer! We really loved it there!!!
The only "negative" thing that I could say about the home (which is not really a big deal) is that the bathrooms both have very large soaking tubs that have are very high and difficult to get into. My kids and especially, my in-laws, had a hard time getting into it. I also had to buy them a bath mat for their bath because it was very slippery in there because my mother in law almost fell inside the tub one day. So if you are traveling with someone that has limited mobility, keep in mind that there are stairs you have to climb to get up to the house, and the tub issue. Other than that, the only other thing was the amount of mosquitoes and no-see-ums (especially) there were...but that is beyond anyone's control and in the summertime you can expect it. They just made it hard to grill and hang out on the porch on the 2nd and 3rd floors because they aren't screened in.
However, I could go on and on about all the great things about this place. I just ran out of space, so I can't!
Bottom line: Don't be afraid to rent here! You'll love it! :)
Thanks again Richard for all your help and for being so attentive!
The house is beautiful with outdoor space on every floor. Beds are comfortable and very clean. The boat dock worked perfect for our 27ft boat. i would recommend this property to my friends and family. Location for property was excellent for all our boating needs.,
The house is very comfortable and welcoming. We felt at home during our stay. It has everything you need and is easy to get to.
It was quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed a glass of wine in the evenings on the deck overlooking the canal.
Rich is friendly and accommodating. He is extremely responsive.
We would definitely recommend and would go back again.
