This upgraded third floor unit in Building #2 has spacious living (AND A LOFT) and dining areas which open onto the large lanai where you'll enjoy outside dining and stunning panoramic coastal views and amazing sunsets.
The oceanfront master bedroom also overlooks the ocean and opens directly to the lanai. The second, mountain view, bedroom sports a king-sized bed. In addition to the two full bedrooms & baths there's the fully equipped kitchen and table seating for both indoor and outdoor dining. And, if you need more quiet space for work or reading there's a quiet table, chair and couch (converts to sofabed) in the upstairs loft along with WIFI access.
This unit is easily one of the nicest along the Kona coast and it's in a wonderful, spacious (17 acre) complex making it even more of an exception. Look no further - you've already found the best!
The Keauhou-Kona Surf and Racquet Club complex is a quiet, gated community located on 17 acres between the Pacific Ocean and the world-class Kona Country Club Golf Course. Our guests enjoy three lighted tennis courts (free for you!), swimming pool, picnic area, gas and charcoal grills, and we're within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, multi-plex movie theater, and Kahalu'u Beach (aka Turtle Beach) for the best snorkeling on the Island.
We used to own property at Casa De Emeko - further north on Alii Drive and we wanted more spacious accomodations. When we found this unit at the lovely Keauhou Kona Surf & Racquet Club there was no doubt that this spectacular location was the right move for us. The complex is gorgeous and continually upgraded and our fantastic unit has views to beat most locations in Kona.
We're located within a gorgeous 17 acre gated complex with a divine pool, three PREMIER mat tennis courts, BBQ's, volleyball court and a shopping center and the best snorkeling in Hawaii literally outside our doors! Oh, and we're right next door to the Kona Country Club Golf Course. It doesn't get any better!!

We recently returned from a 10 day stay in unit #2-303. It was beyond our expectations. The unit was immaculate, completely stocked with all the beach and surf equipment we needed and had the most spectacular views. It was wonderful to sit on our lanai and watch the beautiful sunsets. Working with Sandy made everything for our trip perfect. We look forward to returning soon.

We have stayed at this resort many times. This unit is a third floor unit which requires climbing stairs but no one is walking over your head which can be loud in these buildings. The view from the condo was fantastic. We watched whales from the lanai. The kitchen was very well appointed, the beds were comfortable, and the beach chairs, boogie boards were a nice touch. The only minor complaint is that we ran out of toilet paper, paper towels and laundry soap. We would definitely stay here again.
The condo is large, well laid out, the rooms very generously sized. The kitchen is very nice, and well equipped with every tool and appliance you could want. The highlight of the property has to be the patio - 30 feet wide or more - facing west, and less than 100 feet from the water! The sound of the waves is great, and the sunsets even better! The Club looks fantastic, but to be honest, we were either in our condo or out and about on the island. And when you tire of restaurants and cooking, there is a great pizza place less than 2 miles away! We would stay there again without question!
A half hour drive from the airport and close to Kona. Lovely place located right on the coast. Clean, convenient and comfortable. The sight and sound of the surf pounding on the rocks is mesmerizing.
We love VRBO for the ability to get condos with ocean-front panoramas, and other amenities. We were not disappointed with this one. The description was accurate, and the ocean view was stunning. The kitchen/dining area/ living room, and the master bedroom both fronted on the spacious lanai which fronted the ocean from the third floor. What a view. We really enjoyed sleeping with the sliding-doors open in the bedroom so that we could here the intensity of the crashing waves change with the tide rising and falling.
Another plus for us was that Kahaluu Beach Park was within walking distance. We could walk down, snorkel, and come back without having to worry about valuables left on the beach or in a car in the public parking lot.
The condo was well stocked with beach and surf equipment, and various necessities for cooking (like olive oil), especially dishes, pots and pans. Please, always check in and review what is in any condo that may be rented and see what fits your needs before shopping. If the snorkel gear is wrong for you, go out and rent elsewhere. If there is a huge selection of spices, all for baking projects, but you need spices for BBQ, go to the store for what you need (or bring your own from home).
It was not a problem for us, but something to consider, is that the condo is on the 3rd floor, and the access is by stairs, there is no elevator.
There is a pool within walking easy walking distance, and of course, per the property name, tennis courts.
We hope to come back soon.
We were very happy with the condo! What an amazing view! There were 4 adults and we had plenty of room. The ocean view was just spectacular! There were games to keep us busy, there were TV's, although we didn't turn any on! When we come back to Kona, we will definitely stay here again. This season has been very warm and humid, the only thing I wished for was AC. There were plenty of ceiling fans and stand up fans, but AC would have been nice. I am sure when the weather is normal, it is just perfect.
There were four adults in our group and the condo gave us lots of space. The view was amazing and we enjoyed sitting on the veranda listening to the waves. There was an issue with ants in the kitchen getting into the food. The one things we found different here than to the other vrbo rentals we had was the amount of cleaning we were asked to do even though we paid a cleaning fee. I understand asking that it be left neat but I do not think it should be the renters responsibility to strip the beds and wash the bedding and towels the morning before you leave. This certainly did not add to our experience. That should be included in the cleaning fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY and INTERNATIONAL TAX FEES
Credit Card - International Tax Fees
International Travelers will have international tax fees withheld from security deposit. For example: credit card processing for VRBO users in United States is 2.9%; international tax fees are an additional 2% totaling 4.9%. Guests using international card will have 2% of total credit card amount charged with-held from security deposit. No charge on domestic (US cards) regular 2.9%; charge on international tax fee only.
Our formal cancellation policy is strict - there are NO refunds. Reservations cancelled 60 or more days prior to arrival can have deposit applied to another stay within one year of original arrival date. Cancellations less than 60 days have NO REFUND.
On an informal note, we understand that the unexpected can happen and would do our best to rebook any cancelled nights/days and try to offer a corresponding refund.
Guests agree to honor all details in RENTAL AGREEMENT upon payment for this rental.
Security Deposit Refunds are set to automatically refund within 7-14 days of check-out. Housekeeper will supply information of damage and corresponding receipts if and when necessary. We're lucky that this rarely occurs!
Cleaning & Guest Supply Fee - this covers departure out-cleaning & tax fee for housekeeper AND it also covers one time stocking for paper towels, toilet paper, soaps (laundry, dishwasher, dish, hand, bath), plastic wrap, garbage bags, baggies, glass cleaner, dryer sheets, etc. so that guests do not need to purchase these items independently.
