Sit in 25x13 ft heated pool with tiki umbrella, table and bench seating. Pool has unobstructed SOUTHERN exposure. House is on extra large end lot with no construction on abutting properties. Flat screen LCD TV's thru out including 42' Home Theatre in familyroom, 32' LCD outside under covered lanai, 37' LCD in MBD and 32' LCD in guestroom. Sunbathers will laying on the dock or pool side (4+ lounge chairs). Beautifully decorated with top of the line comfortable new furniture thru out, new patio furniture & new Kitchen (October 2008). The twin bedroom has a pull out couch to sleep 3 - 4. Master bathroom has luxurious soaking tub & large separate shower. as well as separate toilet room. Located at 349 Lamplighter Drive (premier address on southern end of Marco Island). Our home is located at the end of the canal so long water views abound. All new Sealy Posturepedic beds, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, top linens, etc. More than $60,000 in improvements including new dock, new shell stone travertine pool decking/coping and new screen lanai cage were completed in September/October 2016. *No cats - owner allergic. Dogs considered.

Why rent a house when you can rent a home?: Our home has been set up for our personal use and as such everything is in place to offer you a relaxing vacation. Our home was built in 1996 but has had a new kitchen added (October 2008), everything painted (inside and out), newly decorated down to new door knobs. Why rent a house when you can rent a home? Our home has all new beds (Sealy Posturepedics), new linens, towels, new furniture through out (Baer's Furniture not Rooms to Go). There is even a seating area in the pool with table and umbrella. Enjoy the beaches of Marco Island (1/2 mile away) and unwind! My wife and I love it and are sure that you will too!

Things to do: I would recommend:

- Marco Marriott jet ski tour of 10,000 islands

- lounging in the pool

- biking around Marco looking at the multi million dollar homes and views

- Movies (has bar/restaurant in movie theatre)

- kayaking

- parasailing along the beach

- sunset walks along the beach

- fan boat tour of everglades (30 minutes away)

- Marco dining (Arturo's, Snook Inn, Nacho Mama's, Di Vinci's.

One of the most relaxing vacations we have had!

This is the first time we have rented a home on Marco Island. The process was very easy. The pictures do not do the house and location justice. Quiet peaceful and upscale are words I used to describe the neighborhood. We grilled out, enjoyed preseason football and soccer while in the pool thanks to the tv on the patio. We fished everyday. We headed into Naples to shop and have dinner. Location was perfect for us.

The house is not over crowded with "stuff". It's up to date with furnishing and features. We have decided to make this an annual two week vacation!!! Can't wait to get back!!

Beautiful House & Great location

We enjoyed our week here and the house was clean and very well maintained. The owner's was great and we really enjoyed renting this house for our vacation. They provided bicycle's which we rode every day, They had lots of beach chairs and just anything we needed. This is a beautiful island and a great place to stay. Our family enjoyed our stay and vacation. Great house and great experience with the owners as well as the property manager.

Be careful - this home is not well taken care of

we saw this home on line and it looked lovely. we rented it for a month. at first everything seemed ok until things started to fall apart. the fridge broke, then the bbque, then the shower nozel, then the toilets, then the ants... - say no more. the owner fixed everything but we had to be home to let the trades in. we felt like the project managers. I'm sure there are better homes to rent.

Owner's Response: Honestly. In a combined 28 years of renting our homes, we have never run into a stranger couple than rented our home this past January. Read all of the reviews, they are all 5 stars (a few 4). Trouble started with tenant when he called and said light is on the pool heater. It is suppose to be on. Harborview Realty who manages our home went over to try and see what they could do to help. Every blind was pulled and tenant refused to come to the door. Day 2: Tenant called and said color of flame on barbecue was wrong. He said it was blue and should not be blue. We ordered a brand new barbecue (despite the one at the house being 4 months old) and had it delivered. Tenant asked what time it would be delivered and handyman said between 2 and 4. Tenant was told they did not need to be there to receive the barbecue as it simply went on back lanai. Tenant called handyman 8 times to see where he was, and then me @ 4:01, 4:15, and 4:30 saying this was unacceptable. Emails streamed from him. Again, no reason to have replaced the barbecue nor for him to be there for a new one being dropped off. When handyman arrived tenant refused to answer the door and had all blinds pulled. We always try and make things perfect for every tenant. Day Two: he said ice maker had some ice in back of freezer. It always had done that (8 year old fridge), so we offered to have a new fridge delivered the next day. Lowe's said delivery from 9 - 11 AM. He said fine. Lowe's came to house and tenant refused them entry stating they were eating breakfast and they would have to come back in three hours. Long story short, this tenant has issues above and beyond a vacation rental. Three items were replaced during his month stay (only one of which really needed to be replaced as we were trying to be accommodating).

Wonderful month on Marco

We rented this property for 4 weeks. The house is well equipped inside and out and located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. When the clothes dryer wasn't working properly, a new was was installed within 2 days! Both the owner and Harborview were great to work with and I'd definitely recommend this home for your Marco Island vacation.

Lovely home to stay in.

We owned a condo in Bradenton for 24 years and wanted to be further south. The weather couldn't have been nicer and the house had everything we needed. We liked being in a home and not riding up and down an elevator. Anything we needed was looked after immediately by the Rental company with just one phone call. One day the washer stopped and there was a repairman there within 24 hours.

A spacious comfortable home with everything needed. Easy to clean and look after while we stayed there.

I loved riding a bike and had multiple ones to choose from. Lovely view and we were in the pool everyday. Some days the pool got too warm and we left the heater off for 24 hours. The weather was fabulous - 80's most days we were there.

We really enjoyed our stay and loved Marco Island.

Fantastic Vacation Home!! Very Clean and quiet. Plenty of room for myself and all 4 boys (ages 19 - 22). The Pool was great! This home is a great place to spend your vacation and I look forward to coming back again!! Thank you for the wonderful memories!!
