The Provencal villa 'Chez Marius' is located in one of the most beautiful areas in the world. (see www.ardeche-paradies.com) It lies away from the tourist crowds but close to all attractions, such as Ardèche, many Provencal markets, castle-like stone village with squares consisting of sycamore trees.
The villa was renovated in summer 2013 in high standard. The bathroom, kitchen and decor are completely new. Wireless internet ensures complete accessibility. Even otherwise all comfort is there. Because of the covered terrace facing south and the new window, it will remain fresh inside the house in Provencal summer. In winter heater system and fireplace guarantee a pleasant holiday.
The property is lined with trees and has a large garden. Within the garden you can find a swing, child-safe pool and plenty of space to relax and unwind.
Below the house is a basement with garage, so that even the car remains cool.
The mountain village Lagorce is not far away. In the typical French epicerie there is everything that a man can do on holiday: baguette, croissant, cheese, yogurt, salami, books/articles to read, postcards and even toys and batteries. And French-speakers are supplied with the news about the area. You can dine excellently in the restaurants - with a wide view of the Ardèche mountains and the valley of l'Ibie.
The golf course Chateau de Bourdet in Grospierres is waiting for you. Anyone who has ever driven on the Ardeche canoe, will never get off of it. Paddling in this exciting gorge in front of the ever new fascinating rock and cave backdrops is a unique experience. Each of the caves is an excitement. And whoever wants to soar like the birds, will explore with the air with the motor glider. The many castles and palaces in the area are great attractions in summer, each with its own goofy ghost.
But quite honestly, the best thing is to simply accept the southern French pace of life and let the time run slower. Drink a café crème under the sycamore trees on the square, maybe a small Ricard or a cool, pink Grenache Gris - as it is sold everywhere by the winegrowers. Enjoy the sun, indulge in the sensuality of French cuisine and live rightly.
