Nieby / Falshöft is located directly on the Baltic coast with a view of the Danish South Pacific. The beach at Falshöft is a typical natural beach. Sandy and nudist beaches can be found in the neighboring community of Golsmaas, about 4 km away. Surfers get their money's worth at the Falshöft lighthouse and guest sailors are very welcome in the sailing ports of Wackerballig (6 km), Gelting Mole (8 km) and Schleimünde / Maasholm (14 km).
You can easily walk to the Birk nature reserve and the modern NABU information center. In the natural Birk you will find interesting special features from fauna and flora.
