Guestbook comments from the owner

The weather was great, skiing was great, the accommodations were great. Our stay could have not been better. The Hobbit House is truly a well crafted, unique and very "cozy" environment to have spent time with our family. Thank you for a first class experience, and sharing your space with us. We are looking forward to a return in the future and hopefully the Santa Fe Hobbit House will be available.

Best to you both!

A Unique Gem

  • 5 of 5

The photos of this house are completely accurate, yet they can’t convey the feeling of being in a well-appointed museum with exquisite gardens and a peaceful, walled back porch. The neighborhood is both quiet and central. We discovered we could walk half a block to a fine French bakery for breakfast, which was delightful. If we are alive next year, we will be back!

Living in a work of art!

  • 5 of 5

The Hobbit House more than exceeded our expectations and enhanced our Santa Fe exploration. The house is so creatively crafted and the yard a beautiful and relaxing place to unwind after a busy day. Sheila and Terry were a joy to work with and anticipated every need that may have occurred from the fabulous lavender shampoo & conditioner to the closet of DVD movies and lush robes for relaxing. The waterfall in the backyard was a soothing sound to fall asleep to after a busy day and although you are in a neighborhood with every convenience imaginable (Trader Joes, Whole Foods,....) it was very quiet. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the terrace and watching a variety of birds including daily visits from a humming bird. There is no better place to stay in Santa Fe... the walk to town through the quaint neighborhood was a daily part of our adventure! We would highly recommend the Hobbit House as part of any Santa Fe stay and thank Terry and Sheila for sharing their beautiful home with us. The RI gals June 2017

Great Stay at the Santa Fe Hobbit House!

  • 5 of 5

We just stayed here this past weekend (June 22 - 25). This is a great place for kids and grown ups alike. Very clean, spacious home for a weekend stay. Beautiful patio and close to a lot of restaurants, grocery store and pharmacy. Several blocks to walk to the square, but a very short drive to most areas that you would want to visit. We will definitely return to this location!

Spectacular home in a great location

  • 5 of 5

Spectacular home in a wonderful city! We actually wished we had more time to simply enjoy this house. Everywhere you look there was a feast for the eyes, simply wonderful. A group of women went for our girls get-a-way and we each highly recommend this place. It is close enough to everything that it's an easy and inexpensive uber ride to downtown.

Such a beautiful place for my family to enjoy for the weekend. Centrally located in Santa Fe and just a 10 minute drive to get to the mountains. Terry and Sheila are so accommodating and we would love to stay here again! Thank you so much and what a beautiful home!
