A deluxe cabin located across from Summit Central on Snoqualmie Pass, you are able to walk to the lifts easily, or if one of the other 3 ski areas at the Summit at Snoqualmie is your destination, you can walk to the end of the drive to catch a shuttle and they will drop you wherever you wish to spend your day.
Part of a two story residence, the rental unit is on the first floor and functions as a completely separate living space from the main unit above. Our family stays in the upper unit on weekends and holidays. It has a full sized kitchen, bedroom, living dining area and a deluxe bath. Attention was put into every detail, from the slate heated radiant floors, to the jetted soaker tub with built in steam shower, you will find quality throughout. Great for a romantic getaway or a family adventure.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to whip up a great meal just bring the groceries. The granite countertops and stainless steel appliances are both functional and beautiful. It has a full size refrigerator, gas range, microwave, dishwasher, trash compactor, garbage disposal and instant hot water dispenser, so you don’t need to wait for that cup of hot chocolate when you come in from the slopes.
The living dining area has a propane gas fireplace to cozy up to. The sofa folds down to make a queen size sleeper. The table will seat 4. The TV is ran by a Ruko Internet connection to give you unlimited Netflix and other wirelss internet channels there is also a DVD and a small stereo. We have numerous board games and movies available for your use. We do NOT have phone service. We do have WIFI. As the snow accumulates you are truly cocooned and may need to step out onto the deck for cell phone signal.
The bedroom has a king size bed to get lost in and an armoire for clothing. You can snuggle up under the down comforter for a great nights sleep.
The Bathroom is all about YOU. The large tub is great for a long soak or turn the jets on if you need to work some kinks out from the slopes. The best part however is that the enclosure doubles as a Steam Room. So grab the cedar planks to make yourself a seat and soak up the heat. Nothing takes away the chill like a hot steam sauna.
In addition, the hallway houses a stacked full size washer and dryer. There is a twin size Ikea cot and a port a crib in the closet. There are lots of sleds on site and an assortment of cross-country gear accumulated over time so if the shoe fits you are welcome to borrow it. We also have extra of ski clothing, so ask if you find yourself in need especially for kid stuff. Our two teenage daughters are willing to babysit with advance notice.
I feel confident you will not be disappointed in your stay. A wonderful getaway close to all the winter activities. The summers on the mountain cannot be beat with lakes, hiking and biking galore. So keep us in mind as your year round relaxation getaway spot.

Hi. I’m Brandi. This picture could be me if I was 30 years younger and 50 pounds lighter. Since I’m not you get to see this great picture of my daughter during an epic snow fall year. We are an outdoorsy family who spend most of our free time either on the slopes or hiking in the forest. My dear husband and children are all adrenaline junkies who can’t quite understand mom’s preference of sitting by the fire and reading a good book. Our Moto: Mom doesn’t ask and They don’t tell! Because if I knew about the cliffs and death defying double black diamond runs they were doing I would be forced to ground the kids or divorce the husband. Lucky for me the four year old is at the same skiing level as I am so we can have lots of fun on the new slopes put in at Summit East. When not pursuing fun in the wilderness, I chauffeur around the kids to their various activities, help run my husband’s engineering firm and use my design skills to renovate dilapidated old homes which I then sell or rent. Our cabin at Snoqualmie Pass is one of my greatest success and something I am very proud of.
Brandi Hunt purchased this cabin in 2001
The great thing about Snoqualmie Pass is it is a short 50 minute drive from Seattle. Being right off I-90 the roads are kept plowed and sanded which means it is easy to get to. The cabin is very close to the lifts, even the 4 year old has no problem walking over. Our road is snow plowed and we have parking spaces in front of the cabin. The best thing about the area is it is above the cloud cover, which means when it is gray and raining in Seattle we have snow and sun. Our neighborhood is very safe and the kids can come and go as they please. An added bonus that many don’t realize is that we have warm summers up here and you can actually swim in the nearby lakes without a wet suit. We spend a lot of time hiking and biking in the mountains and this location just cannot be beat.
When we have no one renting the downstairs, my husband and I will sneak off and use the steam sauna. It is wonderful. The whole place gives off romantic, take a break, just relax vibes. One renter commented that it made him think of cognac and cigars and with the use of old growth timbers, reclaimed wood and hardware you do get the old English pub feel. We hope you decide to see for yourself everything our cabin can offer. Just remember you cognac , but leave the cigars at home.
The cabin was amazing. The location was very convenient and allowed for a quick walk to Summit Central. It was an incredibly cozy place to come back to after a cold day on the mountain. The heated floors were wonderful and really helped sooth our sore feet. The sauna/shower was a great place to relax and the king size bed made for a great night's sleep.
As nice as the cabin was, I cannot speak highly enough about Brandi. Communication was quick and thorough from the very first message. During our stay (3/5 - 3/9), the area got a ridiculous amount of snowfall; so much that I-90 was shutdown in both directions on the day we were supposed to depart. Brandi was willing to let us stay in the cabin for another day until the next guests arrived and was even willing to let us use their personal portion of the cabin if things got really bad. Thankfully though none of that was necessary because Brandi put us in touch with someone that got us in a convoy and off of the mountain the same day.
Thank you so much for your generosity, Brandi. Your cabin will certainly be the first I look for when we plan our next trip to the pass!
My small family of 3 loved everything about this place. Everything was as described in the listing. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars was due to the jets not working in the tub! It was such a bummer to come back to the cabin after a long day of snowboarding only to find out that the jetted tub wasnt working! Regardless, I wouldn't mind staying here again (as long as the issue with the tub is repaired)...
This was our second stay at Brandi's cabin and we had such a wonderful time. The location couldn't be better for skiing and it is such a cozy place to come back to at the end of the day! It was perfect for our family of 4. The cabin is so tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. We left feeling completely refreshed. We will definitely be back!
Everything was perfect for a holiday weekend at the cabin. Brandi is so sweet. When our car got stuck in the snow, she gave my daughter a ride up to Central for her ski lesson so she wouldn't miss it. I am so thankful! The bed was super comfy (I usually don't sleep well the first night) and the shower makes all your troubles go away! Thank You!
We stayed here for a couple nights. It takes about 7 minutes to walk to central Summit. The unit itself is decorated well and has great lighting. I would stay here again if in the area.
I can't say enough about this cabin! My family of five(2 adults, 14 yr old, and 4 year old twins) spent 2 nights for a pre Christmas get away. Communication with the owner was amazing from the time we booked until the time we left. The cabin was VERY clean and came with everything we needed! We even borrowed snow clothes and sleds! The location is awesome for little people to play in the snow! We were able to go sled right outside the door and then come in after tiny hands got cold....and then back out again 10 minutes later :) My kids are already asking to go back next year!
